You pretty much nailed the most important players to develop. If even half these players set up and have a good season, the Jets make the playoffs I think. If most or all of them take the next step then the future is very bright. The rookies always get the press but its players like these, the younger talented players that are on the verge of either becoming something or not that are crucial in training camps..
Eric Allen @eallenjets 25m My Report Day is here. Headed to Cortland one day before the fellas arrive in Central, NY. Time to set up shop.

Mike Donnelly @TheMikeDonnelly 11m Training camp priorities for the #Jets, in order: 1) no injuries 2) no injuries 3) no injuries 4) no injuries 5) no injuries 6) no injuries
Dennis Waszak Jr. @DWAZ73 2m Some not-so-obvious guys to watch in #Jets camp: FB Chad Young, TE Zach Sudfeld, DL TJBarnes, DL Anthony Grady, S Brandon Hardin.
I don't know. I don't think T.J Barnes and Grady have ANY shot at making this team. -wilkerson, richardson, harrison, ellis, douzable (5) are locks and I don't see any point in keeping anyone else especially since Pace, A. Barnes and Coples can all play with their hands in the ground too if Rex wants to go to a 4 man front. Not a lot of room there for any other DL to make the squad.
I agree... But if someone blows training camp out of the water, you might have to take a look.. What is the Max number of DL's we can carry on the active 53-Man roster?
In our new home!!! Getting excited @CP3_850 and @J_ACER22 #MetLife #Blessed pic.twitter.com/rFioI1dWQo
Amaro is a big ass mother fucker. I have a feeling Calvin Pryor is gonna be a fun player to watch. I'm so excited for this season
Agreed! On draft day I wasn't sure about the Pryror pick, but it didn't take long for me to change my mind. He fits this team perfectly. The Amaro pick was great too. Sure, I bleed green, but I really think our team is underrated and should have a good year. F everybody who tries to keep us down ; )
I think we are gonna see this squad in the postseason. I say that every year, but this year just feels right. Young group of guys who are close in the locker room. Geno's got a year under his belt, we upgraded tremendously at WR, upgraded at RB, and upgraded at Safety. Offensive line is starting to gel, defensive line is insane, and we have two guys who were in a highly successful organization last year that met at the Super Bowl. It just feels right.
This is all I want to see, at least until the first preseason game. If I hear "receiver" and "hamstring" in the same sentence in the first week again I'm gonna lose it...
I'm concentration on the secondary and how players on the back-end of the roster is being developed. I'll be be in Cortland on the 9th and 10th.
Haha true, but when the guy above you on the depth chart was rated as one of the worst at his position and you're his only competition, all eyes are on you
