Huff is a good player but he's a little overrated as an NFL WR IMO. Oregon's offense makes every RB, WR and TE look like a star
so Mcdougle... CB with good instincts that seems to fit the Rex mold if these scouting reports I'm reading from google are right (not even gonna pretend like I've heard of him) only problem is he's always hurt...but hes also a great teammate apparently! uh, okay. a project with good character...not like there was somebody OBVIOUS they had to choose from. not gonna pencil him in as starter this year, thats for sure.
Nix was one of the five best players in this draft. There must be an unreported drug/character issue for him to have fallen into the back half of the 3rd Round. Two years ago when Alabama beat up Notre Dame in the title game, Nix was the best player on the field and it wasn't even close; he was unblockable (and Alabama had the best offensive line in college football).
Ivory right? this has long term upside written all over it. the question is just how high that upside really is...
I've been throwing back the 10-325 hydro with a tizanadine kicker for the last 2 months, can make for some fuzzy times.
HAHAHAHAAAAA. Especially from dudes who 5 pages ago said "I don't watch college football, who the fuck is this Clowney guy?" _
He isn't a great tackler or a press corner, but he has great agility, good speed, very fluid, great man to man corner, seems to always get his head turned around for the ball (unlike kyle wilson). he always keeps track of both the wr and the qb. his zone coverage isn't a weakness, but not a strength either. I'm happy with this pick. Sure, we may have been able to grab him in the 5th, but we also may not have been able to. I'd like to think our coaches know more than us and liked him so much they didn't want to leave it to chance.
Granted it's a highlight video, but he seems to be the opposite of Kyle Wilson when it comes to turning his head. (Jets1116 beat me to it)
I liked the McDougle pick more than the Amaro and Pryor picks. Playmaker in the 3rd round. He's a ballhawk.
