Yeah a defensive guru and two draft experts are completely out of there mind but you from your computer at home are the draft genius with all the right answers.
From Jets website: They had this ready fast because I'm guessing they knew the Jet collective all said "WHO???" at the same time.
I remember someone asked Rex if they were done at WR a few weeks ago and he said something to the likes of "it may not be what everyone wants/expecting but we intend to add another WR"
I know this is a little out of place in the draft section, but now that we've gone 3 rounds without taking a WR (which I don't really mind), would you guys be open to signing Holmes back at a reduced rate? I know he's a dick and he gets hurt a lot, but we've got a great big bodied receiver in Decker, an upper level slot guy in Kerley, an awesome 4 in Nelson, and now 2 pass catching tight ends in Amaro and Cumberland. The 1 thing we're missing is the downfield threat, and since we passed on the instant impact guys in the draft, Holmes is really the best option still out there. I'm sure he'll sign pretty cheap now that he sees no one is interested, and I really am not comfortable starting Hill.
Kiper liked the picked McShay liked the pickā¦ not that it means anything but he had a lot of buzz after his pro day
McDougle was in my final Mock draft...Round 6. Jets showed a lot of interest. Injured and off most teams' radar. A smaller player, but extremely fast, great KR. I think it was a reach, Rd 5 I would be good, not rd 3.
Alright dude I missed the beginning of the 2nd round and forgot oakland took him...thats why I edited that post and put NVM. Chill out
So turns out McDougle missed most of 2013 because of his shoulder injury, and that was the only reason he wasn't working out at the combine. Even though he was injured he attended every practice, every away game, and every single meeting he would have otherwise. That kind of ethic you rarely find in a college player, and talk about an "Idzik guy"
I agree but if we got the guy in a later round, that's cool. Guess he must have been wanted by other teams for the Jets to make this move and not risk him being there by 104. In Rex/Thurman we trust.
The name Dexter Mcdouglae doesn't have a good ring to it,doesn't sound like a stud.Mcdougale Island?sounds like a place where you dump your garbage
I wouldn't be surprised if we cone away with an sec qb at the end of this draft Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Can't say if it's good or bad because most on this board don't know the guy. Rex loved Kyle Wilson and Milliner. Kyle is average at best and the jury is definitely still out on Milliner.
I'd be against it. Holmes isn't even that good anymore, pair that with his complete lack of desire to even try on more than 10% of the plays.....
