OT Richardson, OT Henderson are both left A few others I wouldn't mind with these picks S Loston, TE Lyerla, LB Jones, CB Reynolds, P O'Donnell
The only SEC Defensive Player of the Year to not be chosen in the first two rounds in the past decade I believe. Note: Shelden Richardson factor...Ya'll dont think he will look out for him in that locker room if there are issues.
Honestly I kind of hope Sam gets taken by Kansas City, he'd get the hometown (college) crowd benefit and not as much attention on him. But he'd definitely have a chance to contribute with Rex.
I mean seriously, look at this writeup from NFL.com on his Sam's Strengths: Good arm length. Anticipates the snap and has a very good initial first step. Plays hard -- gives great effort and competes every down. Good on-field intensity and demeanor. Attacks the edges aggressively and motor runs hot. Outstanding weight-room strength -- can squat a small house. Very durable. That's pretty much the perfect late round pick for Rex, especially given that he's already produced significant on-field results playing in the SEC.
At this point for me It's Dion Bailey, Skov or Smallwood, Dion Bailey, Michael Sam, Marion Grice, Ahmad Dixon, Vander Kamp, or Tom Hornsey. Not necessarily in that order. I'd be very happy with even 2 of those in our last 4 picks.
http://www.theatlantic.com/entertai...hael-sam-in-the-nfl-the-new-york-jets/361879/ There Is a Place for Michael Sam in the NFL: The New York Jets A closer look at Sam's on-field performance invalidates recent doubts about the openly gay NFL prospect's skills—and suggests he might be perfect for Rex Ryan's defensive lineup.
Maybe it's just me but I almost feel like Michael Sam would be a steal this late. People forget that he was a really really good football player...
Shit, if they pick Sam, they will atleast be talking about one of our draft picks! Which they haven't done since round 1!
People on Twitter want Jets to draft Sam...no experts, just regular fans https://twitter.com/search?q="Michael Sam jets&src=typd
NYC might be the best place for Sam to go to. Won't have to deal with as many hometown homophobes. NYC loves gays!
I want Jeremy Gallon. Watching him-at Michigan, he's a steal here and while he's only 5 foot 7, drafting here, he could have a big upside.
