Gotta say, I'm feeling damn good about the team right now. Haven't felt this way in a while.

Sure the draft would have been better had Idzik been able to maneuver so we'd have say, Marquis Lee rather than Saunders, but I'm very pleased with what we wound up with. I think both Enunwa and Shaq Evans can become reliable wideouts. Give me reliable routes and decent hands over .2 faster 40-times any day. Along with what we already had, Decker added, and the 6'5" TE Amaro, we'll have enough weapons. It'll be up to the QB and the protection he receives. Our RB corp is strong now. Gotta like Geno's chances for year two more than year one - especially since he really didn't even play until the 3rd preseason game. I am not rooting for Vick to start, but if it happens we're still in better shape than we were heading into 2013.

Saw some interviews with some of the new guys and I was impressed. I believe we're drafting high character players. I like that Idzik kept all 12 picks and has created depth we haven't had in a while, and more importantly competition all over the roster. He used the advantage of 12 picks to do that, while taking a couple of chances like McDougle. We'd prefer those risk picks occur in later rounds, but when its all said and done I don't care when they were drafted. We're seemingly weak at CB, but it's an area of strength of our coaching staff. Pryor will be a solid pro, and is perfect for our secondary. Just think how many players on our roster we have who should be improving in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th seasons.

Geno-willing, I think we're moving in the right direction and getting closer fellas.

Agreed. This team seems to have really improved from already being a tough team. I like Saunders a lot from the little ive seen. Maybe not the most 'amazing' players but the Jets appear to have drafted a lot of 'players'.

Same here man. In all honesty, it is feeling more and more like Seattle. Depth, youth, and guys ready to make a name for themselves. I'm excited as hell for this season

"Hitch" is a term used by beat writers who have no knowledge of the QB position

Eric Smith was so slow......How slow was he?....that Anquan Boldin never saw him coming!

Yup, all those beat writers who don't know anything about football and/or didn't watch any games last year.
