    Most people are stupid.

Using a majority of a stupid subset is in and if itself stupid.

And I don't give a shit about betting, it's irrelevant to the discussion.

Betting has no place in a discussion about who should be the National Champion.

We only need 2, but I'll go to 4.

Anymore than that and it's the NHL or the NBA or pretty soon the NFL and MLN with 4 more wild cards.

Fuck that. I'm a fan of sports.

    I'm not a degenerate gambler.

That's an idiotic argument when discussing the merits of 4 versus 8.

Well done, you've lost the Internet.

Stick to discussions of white shoe peg corn versus creamed corn.

    That's your bailiwick.

    creamed corn is fucking nasty

and the corn joke that everyone makes are old as fuck. Ive heard just about all of them. Besides soybeans are getting close to being one of the biggest Ag products in the state. Corn and beef still dominate, but Soy is getting close.

how is it more gambling? The same number of bowl games are being played. Just a question of whether they're part of a playoff or not.

This is going to be Wisconsin's 5th time playing in it. They play in Tampa at Raymond James. They are 1-4 in the Outback Bowl.

Seriously...all ESPN does is say playoff playoff playoff as if saying it 100 times will make it so. They added one game is all they did and the system is still broken. This college football "playoff" is better than the BCS by only the slimmest of margins. Give me an 8 or 16 playoff with auto bid and HFA throughout or stop pretending its fair. Ohio St got in because of ESPN and Herbstreit and money, and if you dont believe that you're living under a rock. I've really lost interest in this entire process, and ESPN. New boss is same as the old boss.

Locally, Rutgers has agreed to play North Carolina in the Quick Lane Bowl (replacing the Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl) in fashionable, comfortable Detroit, Michigan Dec. 26.
