The trick to parlays I've learned over the years, is to take bets that are only 2-4 wagers. It's when you start getting greedy, going for 5, 6, 7 bets that you feel good about that kills ya. After the crazy last month, or two of basketball, we end up with a rare 1/2 and 1/2 in the final 4. It's fair at least. It is the 4 teams that had the best records in the season. My prediction is what it was when the playoffs started. Miami, OKC.
Royce Young @royceyoung 17s Scott Brooks says he doesn't have an update on Serge Ibaka's calf yet. "I think he'll be alright but we won't know until tomorrow." Ibaka hurt, swings the series to SAS. After all the playoffs and getting 1/2 matchups, we better get healthy 1/2 matchups
Quick thoughts: Can the Spurs control the pace of the game to what they want when they want it? Can their bench dominate OKCs bench? How do you guard Westbrook and who guards him? How do you guard the SAS offense if the LAC PnR offense gave you trouble? Can you not give up open 3s? Can you play the right lineups and can Brooks win another battle vs Pop? Can the Pacers play consistent good D? Will that D protect them when their O stagnates? Can Hibbert feast against MIA and will he protect the rim with verticality and turn the Heat into jump shooters/floaters/tough layup team? Can the Heat not get bored? Can the Heat get anything from their wings of Battier/Lewis/Jones? Can the Heat play their aggressive style on the bigger IND? Will Birdman not look like a shell of himself? Will Wade play defense?
fuck that last foul that ended it, westbrooke flopped like a motyerfuckin bitch, this is why I'm only fanatical about football
Because the east is so weak...I mean if the they had to face the Knicks first round, it would much different.
Ill say Spurs and Heat but to me the WCF is nearly a toss up while the ill give the Heat the edge over the Pacers but I think the Pacers can actually pull this off because they do have the games at home. Its going to be INTENSE basketball to say the least. Both matchups have become quite two biggest "rivalries" in the Sport.
haha the Hawks series made me even more mad about the playoff series now two years ago. The Pacers/Hibbert struggle more when Hibbert can't stand next to the paint and go vertical. So two years ago the brilliant Mike Woodson decides to go even bigger to beat the Pacers. Bleeehhhhh. Knicks would have gotten stomped round 1 this year and everyone would have said "that's why you don't overreact to the last months of the season" with regard to the Pacers.
Wow you really changed your tune about the Pacers. Pacers are 3-4 at home this postseason. However this is why they tried so hard for HC, for the Heat. And they believe their team is built to beat the Heat (so did BK and every other team to face MIA these past couple years). If Hibbert protects the paint it gives IND a chance. If he plays passive and gets lost outside of the paint, Lebron will have field day. Paul George also needs to play like the superstar everyone called him to start the year. The Heat bench isn't great, but the Pacers bench isn't all that great either. It's really hard to predict with the up and down nature of the Pacers in the first two series.
Thunder/Spurs is really hard to pick. If Brooks plays more Adams/Collison over Perkins, Thunder can win. If he sticks with Perkins, Spurs should win. It comes down to Brooks and if KD and Westbrook need to overcome Brooks or if Brooks can help them. No idea what to expect.
I think their is something much larger going on with the Spurs. I believe they are absolutely on a mission to avenge last season and send Tim Duncan off with one more title.
Yeah but everything changes when you were seconds away from winning a title and Miami steals it from you. It's one thing to be in run for a title. It's a whole nother thing when you are seeking revenge for it.
Oh please, you act like last years loss was ordinary......it honestly might have been the worst loss in the history of all sports. That lead, with that much time left, a team has NEVER lost in the playoffs until game 6.
