I disagree tremendously with that first tweet by skip. If they do what they want, that means he has no control over his team. He deserves a lot of criticism then. Skip is such an idiot
For the the final 20 seconds or so I blame Brooks. His team was not prepared, appeared lost out there. Thats a situation in which you need someone with high basketball IQ to make the right decisions, you cant rely on players who are running up and down the court to know to foul or not, etc.
I gotta give a lot of credit to LA though, OKC was in complete control of the game for 3 1/2 quarters, heck even when they tied it, they got robbed when the refs said the ball went off LA while it actually clearly came off Ibaka.
As much as that collapse hurts, these are 2 of the 4 best teams in the NBA right now. We're still going to take the series, just might have to be in 7 again. Either way i doubt the Spurs will be as tough as these first two rounds have been.
You couldnt be more wrong, the Spurs will be the hardest team (if you face them). I said Thunder in 7, I still think they will win it in 7 but I cannot say it with much confidence. Its a best of 3 series now, against a team you admit is a top 4 team, and a team that has the better coach.
Skip Bayless did not watch this game. Posting Chris Paul doesn't work if you are Kd because as JVG pointed out, Chris Paul/smaller guys are allowed to get with more hands on defense and CP3 is a good defender. As Bill Simmons pointed out post game, they should have run a PnR with Westbrook/Durant so Collison got switched onto KD and then KD could torch him. And of course the top tweet, why do you think Westbrook and KD do what they want to do. There is no system to fall back on as Doug Collins pointed out post game. It sounds like Skip didn't understand what was happening on the basketball court which actually should 't surprise me. Cuban showed that he doesn't know or he doesn't translate what he knows to his TV personality.
