Miami seems disinterested most of the game defensively because they send the really aggressive traps at the end of the game. Brooklyn was able to beat a few but that's not good enough. That possession where they let a team that doesn't care about O rebounds grab 3 in one possession is ridiculous! Then to top it all off, they let Lebron get a layup. Deron Williams was miserable. Luckily for him he scored 0 points on draft day, so the headlines probably won't target him
2012 Celtics were down 2-0, pushed the Heat to elimination in game 6 and 7. Nets will be playing under heavy pressure in game 3.
That's obviously what BK is aiming for, but 2012 playoff Rondo is better than 2014 playoff Deron so far. And of course 2014 KG seems like he has no gas left in the tank. Joe Johnson has played ridiculously well for Brooklyn but he can't do it alone.
What scares me for Brooklyn is that they played these games at their pace and rarely gave up turnovers, and Miami just out executed them down the stretch again in the half court. Also, you really can't point to a Miami player and say "that was an unusual contribution" or "that won't happen again". They Heat are taking what the Nets give and just executing the offense. The Nets also need to find a way to cover Ray Allen.
