Didn't see that, my bad. Last night was obviously a fluke. The teams are pretty even. Top two teams out West.
I killed Jordan's streak, though. Took him for NBA.com's drive to the finals and he scored 7 points and got only 5 rebounds. 0 blocks. 1/8 from the line. 25/18/4 9/19/4 15/18/3 had been his past three. He didn't play as many minutes due to the rout, but still 28 minutes. Poor production. Rebounds were 47-31 in favor of the Thunder, which is incredible. The Thunder also made more free throws and shot a much higher percentage from the line (78.3%-56.7%).
yeah I included that in my post, he was 1/8. 46.2% for the playoffs, which is still well above his season and career numbers.
Yup, sucks for Curry that he signed there for many more years. He would be a perfect compliment to another team, I dont think he is the type that can win as a #1 guy though. More like Ray Allen.
He's signed until 2017, I'm sure he could leave in 2016 via trade. I wouldn't be surprised if Barnes, Curry and Thompson leave that team in the near future. You know the Knicks will be lining up at the door for him.
Its a damn shame the Knicks couldnt draft em. Warriors won 29 games that year, Knicks won 32. Warriors got to pick ahead of the Knicks and of course they got Curry.
Wow. Looking back that was a very solid draft class. Griffin, Steph. Derozen. Jeff Teague, Ty Lawson, Brandon Jennings... And the Knicks took Jordan effing hill
By the results, I definitely would've kept Jackson. The problem was there was so much dissent among the assistant coaches and that was put on Jackson. I don't know if it was his fault or not, but they had so many issues the team had enough. Jackson basically had to do something exceptional, like reach the WCF, to stay. The coaching staff had different factions, but the players really seemed to like Jackson. They always spoke up for him. Like the people who want to fire Vogel, you need to compare the team before and after. The Warriors have had a lot more success since they hired Jackson. Like the Pacers, since they hired Vogel.
Catching that MVP Press conference was pretty emotional. If the Pacers fire Vogel, that would be a good replacement for Jackson. Jackson also would be decent in Indiana, maybe he gets Hibbert's head out of his ass.
I know it's Captain Obvious, but holy cow Lebron is great. He's doing anything he wants to in the lane and down low. What a sequence right there. _
