Well he snubbed MSG and joined Riley and the Miami Heat. Talk about enemies.

I actually didn't like Lebron for a long time when he was Cleveland. Hopped on the hate bandwagon in the NBA finals, but it kind of went away when Rose got the MVP from Lebron and then the Heat lost. I obviously dislike him when the Knicks and Heat play each other, but outside of that, Lebron has done me many favors knocking off Pierce/KG and the Pacers. The flopping was really really annoying in the Heat/Knicks series though. No reason to flop in the first round.

I don't think Kobe got benched. Doesn't remove the fact that people ripped him for helping his team win the NBA finals. That's close to the type of hate Lebron got last year, "if ray allen doesn't hit that shot...". Similar to "without Pau Gasol...". It's silly. They both challenged the legendary MJ so people get defensive, even ultra defensive.

See, I was a massive Jordan fan yet I love Lebron. Watching greatness is entertaining. Don't care about the "who is better" argument.

Yeah, I just enjoy Lebron too. It is what it is but I think a lot of fans don't like how Lebron is discussed in those terms and such try to bring him down.

The Heat in general are just an entertaining team. Random contributions from everywhere, a chaotic defense, a high-powered offense at times that can break a perfect defense. And Lebron James.

Absolutely false. Kobe played 45 minutes and had 15 rebounds. He was not benched. I'm pretty sure Kobe was never 'benched' in the playoffs in his entire career (excluding his first two seasons in the league, when he wasn't a starter).

Basically no one shot well that game. It was a very defensive game. 83-79 final and Kobe was the leading scorer.
He played the entire 4th except for the first 53 seconds, and I included the end of the game below.

floppers should be fined $50,000 and 100,000 for a second offence not $5000, brings the game in to disrepute like divers in soccer

    Kobe in game 7 - 6/24 shooting, 15 boards, 2 assists
Pierce n Ray Allen combined in game 7 - 8/29 shooting, 12 boards, 4 assists

People argue Pau should have won the FMVP for his last 2 games, but Kobe was still magnificent that series averaging 28.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.1 steals and 0.7 blocks.

That was such a great game 7 though. Then Ron Artest came out with that rap song.

Well its not farfetched if Lebron doesnt opt out of Miami, he would then become a free agent in 2015 while Andrea and Amares contract come off the books.

New York is the perfect spot for him. Phil Jackson running the show, young basketball smart coach, one of the best shooters of the decade, and money to spend. He would be the king of New York man.

LeBron, Melo, Phil and Fisher in the same organization, that would be a supernova of doucheness.

Lebron, Bosh, and Wade all have opt outs with Melo this offseason. Mimai would then have room to resign 3 out of the 4 to good sized contracts, NY would not have that room unless Amare left and Chandler and/or Bargs was traded for an exception.

If Melo wants to play with Lebron this year, Miami or not NY is a higher porbbality. If they are willing to wait a year, Melo opts in, All the Heat opt in, Lebron and Melo are FA next year with Bargs, Chandler, and Amare off the books and go to NYK to join THJ, Shump, and cap room

I just don't understand LeBron staying in Miami. He is in his prime right now. If he stayed, he would be playing with an aging Wade nearing the end of his career and an aging Bosh who is demanding a lot of money. Ray Allen is gone very soon, Haslem is old as sin, and LeBron is taking a HUGE load during the regular season with Wade resting constantly.

If he went over to New York, he'd be the king of the greatest city on Earth, he would be with one of the best players in the league, playing under Fisher and Jackson who have a combined 16 rings. Makes so much sense.

To me it makes zero sense for Lebron to stay in Miami long term. He has ZERO incentive to get locked in for another 4-5 years. His best option would be to opt back in for another year and see where things go.

I think a lot will have to do with the result of the finals, if he wins he would obviously go for the 4-peat, while if he loses it proves the Heat are not the best team anymore and the 4-peat aspect is dead.

If he stays one more year, the cap room in Miami opens up, meaning Mimai could add better players, much better players.

Or he can leave this year, but where's the good team/coach he could get big money from this offseason? I'm truly asking, because I only know the Knicks/Nets/Pacers/Heat situations. Not sure how the other teams look

How is Kevin Durant's contract situation? At some point, I am pretty sure Lebron will want to play with him.

Another scenario. Please tell me how realistic it is.

After the season, Lebron will talk with Wade and Bosh.

Will ask them to reduce their ask from the Heat. He will then talk with Melo and ask him to reduce his price so Miami can afford to sign him.

Is this scenario possible at all?
