Wade had that key flop at the end of Game 4 and he avoided getting fined somehow? And Bosh last night? I've love to hear the league explain how those were not fine-worthy. They were so bad they replayed it and the announcers called them out on it.
I really envy the dedication the Thunder have from their fans. They may be a horde of inbred Okie tards, but every seat is filled the moment tip-off happens, and they don't take a seat until their team scores. You'd be lucky to have 70% of AT&T Center seated during tip-off, most of them are either in their car on the way or standing in line for food and beer. It's almost embarrassing at that point to be a STH, but once they all drag their drunk asses in there 10 minutes into the game the place starts jumping.
Bonner is starting. This is a shocker, considering he only really played in garbage time this playoffs. 4.8 mpg this playoffs. He played extensively in Game 4, of course, and did hit 3 shots (2 of them threes).
what this does is maybe eliminate Perkins because they're not going to have Ibaka guarding Bonner a lot, that would destroy his presence. And they probably don't want Perkins doing it either, so OKC might just go small. Durant PF, Ibaka C, Jackson, Westbrook, and then Lamb/Butler/Fisher/Sefolosha as the 5th guy. Perkins is starting, but if Pop continues with Bonner during the game, we could see Perkins' minutes limited.
Unless Pop really wants to start raining 3s from the get go I have no idea about the Bonner thing. I would have thought he'd start Baynes to get physical inside early, but maybe he thinks that would begin a parade of free throws... even though Bonner is a clumsy foul magnet.
The Spurs are just not missing AT ALL from the 3 point line. It makes it almost impossible to be winning right now. Not over by any means yet though
That fucking 3 at the end was annoying, knew it was going in. Since that fan ran on the court everything has changed.
