yeah, I've been meaning to post this for a while, but you can see how Bosh has gotten worse with his shot selection just from the stat sheet. Bosh never could shoot threes, and in Toronto, he didn't shoot many. He was the primary scoring option, not the third wheel. 3s attempted per game by year: .2 .1 .2 .5 .4 .6 .3 .3 (first year in Miami) .6 (now he's stepping it up) 1 (!!!) 2.8 (!!!!!!!!) Oh, and his 3FG% in his four seasons in Miami: 24%, 28.6%, 28.4%, 33.9% Yep, clearly the shot you want with the game on the line. The following players all shot better for 3: James Jones, Michael Beasley, Mario Chalmers, LeBron, Ray Allen, Roger Mason Jr. (since traded), Shane Battier, Norris Cole, and Rashard Lewis
Keep in mind I was only 15 when I first came about TGG. I can only imagine what 15 year old Byz would have said if the internet existed back in '71. Also, I've never, ever liked the Vikings. I'm not sure where you're pulling that from. I'm a Jets fan, and openly root for the Packers as well. That's how it's been for well over a decade now. Come on Byz, get your facts straight. Moving forward, fair point about my Spurs/Pats comparison. I wasn't trying to say one team is a replica of the other. They just remind me of each other, which is maybe a larger part of why I dislike the Spurs. But yeah you're right, at least they are classy, and don't cheat.
I think we both know I have my facts straight. I don't need you to admit it, and it isn't as much a reflection on your 15 year old self as it is on you now.
I wouldn't say they played "GREAT" defense. Miami still shot somewhere around 46% from the field, and almost 50% from 3! The biggest difference, and well, the most obvious difference was LeBrons limited minutes. Pacers got a gift and a fluke win. A win is a win, no doubt about it, but if I were a Pacers fan, its not something id be overly excited about. They barely beat a Miami Heat team in which LeBron saw very limited minutes in comparison to his usual playing time. Granted they lost, I actually believe it proves how good the Heat really are. They were losing by 2 points with 15 seconds to go and were in position to win the game. Until last night, we have never ever seen LeBron collect 5 fouls in 3 quarters. LBJ: 24 Minutes, 7 points, +1. You going to bet the house on him repeating those numbers again in game 6? I think not. Lets also not forget Paul George was able to have such a great offense game because he didn't have to deal with LeBron on the other end of the floor. You can see, LeBron not in the game has an impact on both ends. Little off topic maybe: Speaking of officiating, I don't think the NBA rigs games, but perhaps they really wanted to extend this series? hmm. 1 more side note on LeBron: game on the line, 15 seconds to go, final shot, he passes it up. For those that wish to compare him to the greatest ever in MJ, Jordan would NEVER pass that ball. Heck, neither would Kobe.
You're like every other fuckin heat fan. A "fluke" win and actually shows how good the Miami Heat are Lmao give me a fuckin break Paul George had 37 points, Stephenson made a huge impact on defense, West was getting to the rim constantly resulting in fouls, finishing with 18 points, Hibbert had 10 points and 15 rebounds, and the Pacers shot for over 40% from the field. Give me a break man. I'm not gonna sit here and say Miami is a bad team or not very good, but don't come on here and say this win was a "fluke" and this actually showed how good Miami is. What a fuckin joke Lmao You lost, fair and square. Pacers outplayed Miami and shot great from the field. Paul George was a superstar and Hibbert actually came to play. There was no fluke. This was Pacers basketball that pulled out a win. This was the Pacers team that dominated the first half of the season and took Miami to 7 games last year. Fuckin Heat fans. I swear
Oh yea, this is the bigger tougher Pacers team that was suppose to dominate the Miami heat right? Surprised this game has even gone to 6, by your idiotic logic, this series should have been over a long time ago in favor of Indiana. I totally recall you rambling on and on about how size is everything vs Miami and how it would dominate them every game. Yet, Miami went and ran off 3 straight wins. I lost? haha, you're a buffoon. I lost when JR Smith decided untying opponents shoes was more important than boxing a defender out. Watch the game, study the game, maybe you will learn a few things. The Pacers did a lot of work, AND WON BY 2 POINTS!!! Good job, you should really be proud of your Pacers buddy. You barely beat a Miami Heat team in which LeBron played the equivalent of what, 2 quarters? And this is what you are excited about? Your bigger badder stronger tougher Pacers were in position to LOSE, oh how sad that would have been. Paul George 37 points, great offensive game no doubt. But, not having to guard LeBron for 4 quarters definitely helps him keep his stamina and energy up. This is the Pacers team from the first half and the team that took Miami to 7? GIVE ME A BREAK!!! LEBRON BARELY PLAYED. Please don't comment on the NBA again man, you are clearly delusional. You Pacers fans are funny. Pacers are not a great team, its better you come to terms with it now.
I'm delusional? The fact that you are sitting here referring to the Pacers as "my pacers" makes you completely delusional. You obviously lack any reading comprehension skills or you'd have read that I am a huge Knicks fan and root for OKC. I can give a shit about the Pacers. I just like to point out thr ignorance found throughout the Miami Heat fan base, which I know quite well living in Miami for 15+ years. You like to bullshit your way through with LeBron James but if I remember correctly, Lewis had a "fluke" game and made 6 three's. Take half of those away like he has been averaging all postseason and suddenly Indiana wins by 11. We can go on and on over this but you showed your complete ignorance when claiming this win as a fluke. The same team that finished first in the Eastern Conference, took you to 7 games last year, and split the series 2-2 during the season won because of a fluke? OK. Makes total sense. If you wanna point out flukes then point out your own. You wanna bring foul trouble into this, let's bring the foul trouble Indiana has been in all series. Why don't you also bring in the fluke shooting that Lewis had last night. You won't do that. Why? Because you're a Heat fan lol And yes, Miami does have trouble with size. It's not my fault that Indiana has been the most inconsistent team possibly in history. Last night proved that again. Hibbert dominated on the boards and West was getting to the foul line constantly. Size does matter.
The fact that you keep referring to the Miami Heat as my team makes you an even bigger idiot. You go on and on about being a huge Knicks fan, last i checked, I am a Knicks season ticket holder, and you are what? lol. Foul trouble? The PACERS are the team +FT in this series and were last year. Ok SIZE MATTERS, please explain to me why the Pacers did not win last year? Please explain to me why they did not beat Miami, and why they do not have 2 rings already? PLEASE for the love of god, on Carmelo Anthony birthday today, tell me, why the Miami Heat have gone to 3 straight finals without a premier center? Oh no, they're inconsistent. How can such brute strength and size be inconsistent, baffles me. Oh ill tell you why, because they have LeBron and Wade, the best player, and the 3rd best SG EVER, and well everyone else doesnt. Sure the Pacers can beat up on the Knicks, because well, we have Carmelo Anthony, and then some guys who smoke weed all day. The fact that you cannot admit that LeBron barely playing had a huge impact on the game, probably impacted Georges great offensive play shows how little basketball knowledge you have. And foul trouble? I don't think Paul George has ever played 24 minutes this series due to foul trouble. Correct me if I am wrong, haven't checked. Again, even with all that bullshit you stated in defense of the Pacers, only proves my point even more, Miami was in position to win, but gave the ball to the dinosaur instead of one of their better 3 point shooters.
Lmao Are you honestly bringing in season tickets into this? Because you have season tickets and I don't because I live 1000 miles away? That's says enough man. I'm not pursuing this shit.
Sure looked like the fix was in last night. I could careless either way because I'm not a miami or indiana fan, but those were some weak fouls on Lebron putting him on the bench most of the second half. Indiana doesn't win without that and the NBA sure has been hyping this series up since pretty much the beginning of the year. Maybe they didn't want to see it just end in 5. hmmmmm
Well since you wished to go on and on about reading comprehension (I can see that you have none, since I have never claimed to be a Heat fan, and in your own words "I am a die hard Knicks fan". Oh but, because I state the obvious in defense of Miami, because I hate both teams and well, theres no winning on my end, that makes me a Heat fan, something you wish to use in your lame arguments.) Learn to be nice, maybe ill even invite you to sit in the box sometime. State facts, talk about the game, don't sit there like a buffoon trying to antagonize me with "your heat", because you clearly have failing arguments when it comes to the game of basketball. Everyone and their moms can see LeBron not playing clearly favored Indiana. You are perhaps the only guy, and well all the Pacers fans, that cannot see that.
Couldn't agree more. LeBron still almost saved the game with that insane block. But, some people here watched a completely different game than us.
Normally when people sneeze on Lebron they get called for a foul. When the opposite happens, the fix is in.
I guess I don't watch enough NBA to know enough about how Lebron usually gets the calls like you say. It probably wasn't a fix but it sure seemed odd that the Pacers were destined for the golf course before the refs got involved in this overly hyped series.
