See, this is the stuff I'm talking about. No way this guy is making this 100% to Cleveland decision up:

    @Chris Sheridan
Rules of journalism state that anonymous sources should only be used to report facts, not opinions. @Chris_Broussard breaking that rule.

Daily News obviously hasn't heard about that rule. This whole LeBron thing is annoying as fuck.

    I know lol

I just can't see this guy being full of shit and now calling out people saying that anonymous sources are used for facts only. This Chris Sheridan dude seems like he knows exactly where LeBron is going.

Still think he's going to Cleveland. Here's why:

    1. Cavaliers are on the rise and the Heat are on the severe decline.

    2. Granger and McRoberts are not guys that will greatly help the Heat in going to a fifth consecutive finals.

    3. Why have Riley fly all the way to Vegas, just for an hour meeting and yet still not sign a deal?

    4. Why wait this long and not make a decision while hurting Miami in the process. During all this time they could be looking for players, but as reports state, their phones are closed until LeBron decides.

    5. His entire inner circle, according to reports, wants him back in Cleveland. If there's anyone that could sway him, it's his family and friends.

Its funny how windhorst is has said that NO ONE knows whats going on behind the scene, yet Broussard writes in article stating Lebron is still mad at Gilbert.

Just listen to Yahoo's guy, hes been the best for years.

Broussard has never had credible sources. He's essentially from the same school as Manish.

LeBron needs to stop prolonging this shit and get it over with. There will be backlash regardless of his decision.

Broussard is really sounding like an idiot.

He just said on SportsCenter that if he makes his decison in Miami, it is Miami. If he makes it after the World Cup, it's Cleveland.

    This so bullshit.

They were saying on ESPN this am that LeBron is still ticked about Dan Gilbert's letter when he left last time, and that it was still up on Cleveland's website just a few days ago.

Gotta get over that stupid stuff, grow up, it was an emotional time for everyone.

See, but that might be bullshit. Two reasons:

    1. That letter was taken down days ago. It hasn't been on there for over a week now.

    2. If LeBron was so upset about that letter, than why hasn't this leaked before and why is he spending this much time mulling over going back there? If it was that upsetting to him, this decision should have been easy.

    I call bullshit on Broussard.

It probably takes Lebron 5hours to shop at a store.

You're probably right, I didn't even hear it was Broussard.

I really haven't caught up since yesterday afternoon, I honestly thought Gilbert had written a NEW letter as an apology but that it didn't go far enough to satisfy Lebron.

It's either that or Phil has put together a deal to bring back Melo, trade for Love and bring in Lebron for the one year mid-level exception.

At least that's what my sauces are telling me.

    lol.....big lol. Good one.

Heres the deal...screw it. I mean..can any of these reporters actually have the balls to look into a camera and state anything at this point? ESPN, if it had the guts, should throw a pie at anyone that comes on the air and says...rumor has it.....

This is at the point of 100 percent nonsense now..and like many, I just go to a website...hit the refresh button and then click out. I cant even read an article on what anyones gut is telling them. Its been a total embarrassment. To all the players credit, they have show more unity in not spilling the beans on what they are thinking since the first baseball strike in our history. Not one player has let any cats out of any bags. Very impressive.

See I disagree. Gilbert is a real punk. That letter just confirmed it. As the head of a franchise, you don't do that, especially since LeBron really didn't do anything that bad to him. All he did was use his right to free agency, really. That's business.

This wasn't a shady situation like a Barry Sanders signing a large extension and then walking away, trying to keep the money. Or a Michael Vick signing a large contract and then screwing his franchise over with a black mark. Or a Bobby Petrino signing a big deal and then deserting his team in the middle of the season. It wasn't even a Carlos Boozer scenario where he shook hands on a deal and then bailed. LeBron just legitimately left, using his right to free agency.

You couple that with the fact that LeBron has since apologized many times for the manner in which he made his decision and said he forgives Gilbert for those comments. Gilbert has doubled down on his letter - “I would’ve reworded the language in the letter, but I don’t regret sending a letter out to our fan base,” “People forget the letter was not to LeBron, it was to our fan base.” What a fuck head, you don't call out a guy as selfish and as a betrayer and then try to tell people the letter was simply to the fan base.. very unprofessional anyway you look at it.

I think the report is bogus personally, I don't think LeBron is holding the letter over Gilbert like that in making his decision, I think he's probably headed to Cleveland but if he was I wouldn't blame him. It's like taking another job and your former employer trashing you. Now that employer wants you back? That's some nerve. If theres any owner out there right now that doesn't deserve LeBron James on his team it's Gilbert....

and again....with all sarcasm about the Knicks aside because they would be a long shot...I cant help but think that when it does come down, it will blow all of us away. There will be a shock factor to this. Has to be.

What blows me away and makes anyone think that Gilbert is truly the biggest asshole..and if he wanted Lebron...the dumbest asshole in the world..is why leave the letter up there until there was a shot at getting him.

If you knew you would try to make a run...why didn't you take it down in the middle of the last year at least. You wait until you think you might have a chance? I don't know if the letter has a plus or minus right now...but Gilbert waiting until the Cavs had a shot is one of the most egotistical owner moves in recent memory. I mean..what a moron.

Source in Cleveland that is involved in free agency was asked if Broussard's report is true. His response:

    "Don't believe what you're hearing."

    Just reported on ESPN.

Yeah I still don't think Cleveland is the favorite. I mean the letter does matter, and it shows that Gilbert is a butthurt loser. I mean he kept that letter up there for 4 straight years and NOW takes it down? If I'm Lebron, I'm not going back. The owner could have taken that letter down a few weeks later. He didn't need to keep it up there for years. That's some serious emotional drama shit that a teenager would do.
