Here's something interesting. There are reports from Lebron's circle that the Riley speech after the Finals ended, was not taken well by LeBron. The Heat thought they would be in an entirely different position right now, even with him possibly deciding Cleveland, so they think they might have overplayed their hand.
Ignore him, hes the same guy who said Lowry was worth a max and was going to take less to go to a contender. Neither happened. Bosh is a good defender but it wasnt Bosh stopping Tony Parker in the paint was it? nope, Lebron had to hustle his ass off and stay on Parker all through the finals because had he not, Parker would have went right into to the Heats defense and either scored or passed to an open 3 pt shooter. Also the fact that Lebron averaged more rebounds through the season than Bosh should tell ya something, isnt it the big mans job to get the rebounds? nope, Lebron had to battle for them against the big men and it wore him down.
Not in the Heat offense or defense with Bosh. They mostly rebound as a team since a lot of late switching and trapping goes on, a lot of times their only big is out of traditional rebound position, but they are supposed to send people to the ball. Very high energy system. You can get away with lulls against boring offensive teams like the Nets and Pacers, but you can't against better offensive teams like the Spurs. Lebron would probably rather have Melo offensively and Bosh defensively in this Heat system. If the Miami changed their system and played more "traditional", which would mean asking less out of Melo defensively, then maybe Melo is a better fit in MIA. Right now, Bosh is a better fit in MIA defensively which I think makes up the gap between him and Melo offensively. It's kind of why a lot of people say Bosh gave up the most to join Miami. He gave up money, being a top player, and stats to join Miami and fit Spo's changing system. He did it though for 4 years, maybe more depending on where Lebron goes and how the Parsons' offer sheet works out.
