    @DavidAldridge

Sources indicate the Cavs are also in pursuit of free agent James Jones, who can stretch the floor--& just happens to be LeBron favorite.

Cavaliers pursuing Mike Miller now. Trying to put more shooters around LeBron that have experience with him.

    Here we go!!

LeBron James reached out to two vet free agents last week about joining him, IF he left Miami, sources tell Yahoo. Mike Miller was one.

If Lebron does not return to Miami, when the best player in the world switches team and starts a domino affect that would bring Anthony back to the Knicks..or perhaps somewhere else....Bosh to Houston....Wade becomes the best player on the Heat and Riley is left with nothing with a team that reached or won the title the last 4 years. Just by him doing this, the amount of trades that will follow will be off the charts with teams in the East now having a shot to take over.

This does not even include the possibility that Jackson potentially rids the Knicks of Amare and or Bargs. The Lakers losing Gasol because so many teams that made some cap space for the Lebron potential are now able to get a Love...etc.

This one little move...if it happens..will have teams scrambling to be eastern contenders this year. FALC, I think when the first domino falls, there will be so much movement in the next several days our heads will spin. If the Lakers cant get any of the big guys do they try to see what they can get for Kobe? Why have Kobe...the Lakers are done.

So many teams will be eliminated for contention before the year even starts. The Rockets...the Bulls...the Knicks...the Heat...moves will be made to get ready for next year because next year will be do or die for teams like Jackson and the Knicks.

There is only 2 moves that would prevent an all out firestorm and they both involve Lebron.

    1. Lebron returns to the Heat on a max contract.

    2. Lebron signs with the Heat for a 2 year/player opt out after one year, contract.

There are many teams that will have to really look in the mirror and wonder what they can do..and realize in the East...3 or 4 teams can make it to the finals..and in the west...solid teams will not have a shot.

Melo envisioning a team with him and LeBron in 2015 if LeBron goes to Miami on a one year deal.

Imagine Melo and LeBron in New York and Phil Jackson goes back to coaching!!!

^^ Not to sound like a homer or anything, but if the Nets can just be healthy next season, then the squad is still pretty solid, especially if things really get shaken up in FA, now.

It's also looking like Brooklyn is calling over Bogan Bogdanovic, a wing scorer who supposedly has 1st Round talent.

My expectations for the Nets aren't that high, but the team is pretty much remaining in tact with a bunch of young players and a new (yet experienced), esteemed coach.

If teams are getting weaker in the East, then at least the Nets have that going for them.

Clevland is more attractive long term, but lets not say Wiggins is most likely going to become a stud. He's extremely raw, there's a great chance he busts. I don't think as many players will want to play with LeBron in Clevland. Shane Battier said himseld that if LeBron stayed with Cleveland he most likely wouldn't have pplayed with him. I understand what you're saying, it's crazy to think players wouldn't want to play with the best player in the world, but there are more factors than just basketball.

yeah if LeBron leaves I think he'll retire. I'm thinking that Spo will take the Doc Rivers role if Riley retires, or Tim Haradawy will take over that role.

I can see them playing together in NY, but I cannot see Phil Jackson stepping back onto the court as a coach.

Haha is that the nice way to say, "I guess I'd consider playing in Cleveland..."

Not a homer at all..the big question for them is Lopez...is he healthy? I love the guy. I just wonder if they start to tear it down a bit or give it one more shot with the veterans..again..Lopez healthy or not is the key. I would love him to be on my team any day of the week.

This doesnt work, they cant afford to sign Lebron this offseason, and pay Love next.

Definitely a huge question mark. And, unfortunately, it might be time to start calling Lopez brittle. If he somehow returns fully healthy and remains healthy, then yeah, he's one of the best scoring big men in basketball.

That is a big IF right now. Billy King said the plan is for Lopez to lose some weight this Offseason (?I think Duncan did this too, last year), and hopefully, that'll put less stress on his lower body. It's pretty bad when that's the only hope for Lopez, but, it is hope, if nothing else.

I heard that the Cavaliers contacted Mike Miller and Ray Allen. Apparently the trade they made dismorning gives the Cavaliers 24 million in cap space. They can essentially sign Lebron for the max and still have 8 millon in cap to get Ray Allen, Miller, etc.
