OMG you already hear Stephen A saying the Twolves GM dropped the ball? hes clueless, the fact that they got Wiggins is good enough.

Warriors never actually offered a deal, they discussed it but never offered until Love agreed long term which he never did.

This Cleveland team is a million times better than roster Lebron left in 2010, regardless of whether it was Wiggins or Love.

The biggest loser: John Calipari, he turned down 80 million in may to be the coach of the Cavaliers.

Well its interesting because Loves and Irvings lack of defense opens up the floodgates for Rose, Gasol, etc.

The Spurs would take that mismatch apart.

I was going to ask, who in the East can even compete with them now? Pacers lost George, Heat lost Lebron, Knicks aren't ready, maybe the Bulls? Wizards? Cavs might not have too much competition.

The Bulls are a legit threat to them. The Wizards actually have guys who offer mismatches (Nene, Gortat, Wall) but they dont have enough to actually take them down.

Dan gilbert is such a hypocrite smh. He cried about the Heat big 3, pushed for the Cp3 deal to be vetoed, and now he has a big 3 of his own.

A team with good defensive wings could beat the Cavs. Cavs will be absolutely awful on defense. No shot-blocking threat, no athletic bigs.

A healthy Bulls, Wizards team could give them a run for their money no doubt.

I think the Bulls are an absolute mismatch, of course Rose has to remain healthy but I think he actually will. If he doesnt, my god its up to the Wizards to take em down.

I think the Wizards have an opportunity to do something special this year if Beal takes another step along with role players like Otto Porter Jr. - every Wizard fan hypes that guy up.

You could argue they have the best starting 5 in the East.

That starting five is not better than Chicago or Cleveland. Cleveland has the best player in the world and one of the top five shooters in the NBA now.

I am going to have to disagree.

The Wizards have 2 good low post scorers in Nene / Gortat along with an all star level PG and great shooting in Beal / Martell Webster. They easily have the most balance within the starting 5.

Bulls still lack shooting and the Cavs still lack a true low post threat / defensive anchor.

Can't believe they gave up Wiggins. Didn't think they had to, thought they wait them out.

The Wizards have a very well balanced starting five, as you pointed out, but let's not kid ourselves here and claim a case at them being better than Cleveland and Chicago.

You can have the best starting 5, and not be the best team. Having the best player on the planet does have it's perks.

Besides, if the Wizards young players mature - they will be a better team this coming year due to chemistry. Beal could become the best 2 guard in the conference, and Wall has the opportunity to become the best PG in the East.

Btw Stephen A Smith (I freaking hate calling him that) announced that he's leaving ESPN NY radio for Sirius Mad Dog Radio.

Hope he fades off into obscurity.

Still a part of ESPN though dammit.
