Simmons is annoyed because Cleveland is idiotic and keeps getting #1s. True.

    The lottery loves Cleveland!

I guess the NBA again tried to rig it for LA (I was told this again and again, at least) but it never seems to work out.

NBA Lottery is a piece of shit - completely ruins the NBA.

Feel bad for any 76ers fans, to fall outside the top 2 is tough after that season.

Such a load of shit. Kings fall back again of course. Fuck the Cavs, they have absolutely zero excuses for not performing, if they can't make the playoffs next year take away their license. What a joke. Hope Kyrie leaves.

Lol the system that has been implemented to avoid teams orchestrating a first pick is now a system used by the league to decide who gets the first pick.

And yes, Yisman, I know the Spurs got two first overall picks in the span of a decade.

That's not the conspiracy. The conspiracy is they started it so they could give NYK a star in Ewing with a frozen envelope.

Cleveland, Orlando, and San Antonio have benefited the most from the lottery, so if the NBA is rigging it, I guess it's for the smaller markets.

To be fair the Lakers and Celtics have been making the playoffs for a long time now, and when they rebuild (more like re-load) it's via FA and trades.

They are never in a position to be in the lottery, shocked it didn't happen, but the Cavs getting it is just as bad.

Boston stunk for a few years, never got the 1.

The Ewing pick was the only 1 the Knicks ever got and Lord knows they've stunk it up enough.

You did say the Lakers and Celtics would be helped by the lotto, that didn't happen.

Meh, it's for the hype now. Johnny Manziel is in Cleveland. Stands to reason that the shitbags running the NBA want LeBron in Cleveland. Hype hype hype. That's all this league is about.

Btw, I usually have to correct any word that I Swype that is five letters or longer. Strangely, "Manziel" and "LeBron" came out perfectly lol.

How long did it take you to figure that one out?

I had it figured out from the start, but there are people in this thread that defend the league like their mothers worked for it.

No one has ever been able to predict the NBA draft lottery, and books actually take betting based on the probabilities.

I doubt books would be willing to offer betting based on the exact percentages if the NBA rigged it every year.

But yeah, if you wait until after the lottery, you can always come up with a reason why the NBA wanted it for X team.

You gave your log info to soxxx?

See I would have given LAL a star. They always get great ratings, even if the games are terrible. Gotta make them good to justify putting them into national TV games like the NBA wants to and needs to. Again if the NBA really rigs games and drafts, they are making some terribly dumb choices about it.

Total coincidence that the Cavs got it three out of four years. But rigged when the Spurs get it ten years apart.

No one said that. I said it's obviously rigged for both Cleveland and San Antonio. The Spurs would've gotten even more #1s but they keep making the playoffs.

And don't forget Orlando, they got the coveted Shaq and Howard picks.

Orlando was my sleeper winner for this draft. I thought
    a) LAL would get it because well they are the Lakers
    b) Denver would get it because basketball hates the Knicks
    c) Orlando would get it because CLE and NOP got "rewarded" when they lost their star and Orlando lost Dwight.
