You are right my man...it is a good deal of luck in some cases...but where is OUR luck? You would think that we would have ONE over the course of our history. Even the damn Lions have had ONE! The Browns...check...on and on it goes....but not the good ole' NY Jets. Sorry for the on going rant...I'm done now. Yup, Sanchez is a release baby...no need worrying about getting anything for him at all...that is, of course, if we do not get Vick today. Then we may just see him in green and white at a reduced number next year....maybe.
Al Toon was a HOF bound WR before his career got cut short, Key was a top WR before we traded him. we haven't had Jerry Rice or Calvin Johnson but they might be the top 2 WRs of all time.

Well if you are looking for one 'stud' pick, we did draft Namath & John Riggins. Very close you could say Freeman McNeil, Al Toon, Keyshawn (as much as I hate to admit it).
Also the first time I read this I missed the first line, and my immediate reaction was "It's about fucking time Namath officially retired."
I get the feeling Sanchez isn't going anywhere, and honestly I'm pretty damn ambivalent about it at this point. Vick or Sanchez, Sanchez or Vick or Smith. One is almost as good as another at this point. I'd take Geno at this point because he has actually progressed, but it sure as hell isn't saying much all things considered.
it depends on Vick. if we sign him, Mark goes. if not mark stays. I think they wanted Vick or Schaub and w/ Schaub gone it's Vick or Mark. Let's hope Vick doesn't sign
