Just don't see many fast WR-like TE's that play as well as him. Only other I can think of is Keller (and of course Graham) and I feel like he's been the missing link. Anything's better than Kellen Whacksoff Jr.

Let's just hope Willie and Breno don't lead the league in personal fouls......

We need to come to the conclusion that they will both have their share of PFs

Thats not true at all, he is now moving to a national audience. The national audience likes when people bashes the Jets, (ESPN does it all time), his Jets rants will draw ratings.

Agreed but his health is really unstable and wouldnt exactly be best for a team looking for stability.

For what it's worth, from cimini's twitter.

"The Jets have re-worked Mike Goodson's deal, lowering cap charge from $1.9M to $1.28M. Appears to be a restructuring of $650k roster bonus."

The Jets Re-structured Mike Goodson's deal. If so, I doubt they go after MJD or any running back. Another year with Ivory, Powell, and Goodson should be fine.

I still think we might draft a RB, I havent really looked at the RBs in the draft but im sure there is a couple home run hitters.

I feel like we take a RB in every draft so you might just be right

It's really too bad Goodson had the injury and off field issues. I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do for us.

We will see. At this moment seems like he will be on the roster next season. We restructered the contract, didn't release him

Vick? Whatever. Used to hate his guts, now I'm just neutral. I want geno to not have to worry about his job. I want him to get all the reps all offseason, and pre.

Finley? Lol no..we didn't even want him in green bay with the best nfl qb, why would he suddenly reach his potential here? Pass.

Colon? Very happy about it. Solid deal.

Be it Vick or someone else (Sanchez, Fitzy, etc.), it's not about Geno worrying about his job. It's about competition, Idzik's mantra. Sanchez had no legitimate competitor during his 4 years as starter; Geno needs one to push him to improve. He should not be handed the starting job on a silver plate.

And I'm not saying that Fitzy would make a legitimate competitor, but he's better than Simms.

MM might be making a big push for Vick, if he thinks he is a better option than so be it. He would know better than any of us having coached both of them. It's not such a bad thing for Geno to sit for a year or until Vick gets hurt and learn. I never did like throwing a young QB into the fire.
