Should have brought Revis back. Would still be swimming in money, would help our weakest defensive unit, and they guy thrived in Rex's system. I'd rather have Revis on a 2 year 30mil deal than DRC on a multi year deal worth at least 8 per.

Snacks by far out performed Wilfork year before his injury. You are getting hung up on a name. Wilfork is past his glory days and aint coming back. We would be an idoit to give up a 25 year old stud for a 30+ year old who is way past his prime.

Snacks had one good year and not elite. If he's so great then why didn't he make the Pro Bowl. Sure we're not looking for a NT with him and Ellis. But if a great one (assuming healthy) were available you don't think the Jets wouldn't be interested. If you ask the guys on the NEP board they'd laugh at you if you said they'd prefer Harrison over Vince. But you have a right to your opinion. I guess.
It's uncharacteristic of Idzik, rewarding a player for a good season even though he's old (aka paying for past success, not future potential). That said, Pace will simply be holding the fort until we draft an OLB to replace him, so I'm happy with the deal.
He didnt make the pro bowl (your a retard for even bringing this up) because the probowl is voted on by fans aka same reason Wilkerson didn tmake it a 2nd year in a row.
I'd have to believe the deal will basically be a one year deal that Jets could get out of if they want.
