I think you're correct. At this point, I think we're looking at corner in the 1st round if we lose out on DRC.

I'm actually content with what Idzik is doing, but I think he should bend at least a little with DRC. Corner is a big need, and he's by far the best one left on the FA market that also fits Rex's system. Up there with Talib and Revis.

 

Rather take Cro, Rogers, Champ, or Thurmond on a cheap one year deal than overpay for DRC.

 

Not doing bad this offseason for a team with no cap space.

 

At this point we might as well pony up the extension for Wilkerson with all the extra cap space available. Maybe we try to get James Jones? Sanders even with the foot injury? But Sanders is going to want to go to a team that can up his value to get the long term deal next year. We should re-sign Pace immediately lol who do we have that can replicate the 10 sack season he had

 

Kenny Britt going to visit the Patriots after leaving the Rams facility. Might as well scratch him off our list what better QB to play with to try and up your value for a long term extension?

That is pretty impressive.

With the cap space they have you'd have to think they can upgrade the secondary some and the offense. The Jets have a better than decent chance to be a playoff team this year IF they can score some points and give the D a break once in a while.

 

I agree. The Jets don't need to start handing out long term contracts to guys like DRC. The new GM just finished digging the team out from that shit.

 

Don't we HAVE to spend like 90% of our cap? We have 30 almost 40mil once we cut Sanchez. How much can we afford to not spend?
