no surprise Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 1m Baltimore has emerged as the favorite to land former Panthers WR Steve Smith, per sources.
What's wrong with both? Cromartie takes a pay cut and you can line both Cromartie's out there with Millner in the slot.
Apparently Decker was just at a NY radio and said that he was promised another wideout will be coming soon to the Jets?? ^ Taken from another forum I post on.
The deal with Steve Smith is he's still getting paid 3mil from CAR this season so a 1yr 3-4mil deal gets it done. Is he worth that from us?
They didn't draft milliner to be in the slot. And it's too soon to move him there. He will be on the outside, not in the slot.
iBob tweeted it too, it's probably James Jones because it's all over the place. Kinda hoping for more than just James Jones though, like maybe...Lance Moore?
Steve Smith going to Baltimore would be good news for Jets. For one thing it keeps him from NE but more importantly it could very possibly take them out of the market for a WR in 1st rd.
I dunno, but would love it if he did/could. I think the emphasis needs to be on the OLBs, NOT the CBs.
That's a disaster idea. Wilson has been groomed for 4 years as our nickel. Milliner is a starter. You don't mess with that. Get either Cromartie to play opposite Milliner and I'll be fine with that.
