Nah, I just saw him kicking back at Smith & Wollensky enjoying a nice filet and bottle of wine.

The Jets are supposedly interested in Sanders and were interested in Maclin.

Dude!!! The depth at WR in this draft is incredible. The FA WR markets sucks...really is terrible.

Zach Martin is an OT....LOLOL...not a CB.

    Wilson isn't a #2 CB.

It's tough watching everyone else make moves. But Idzik is doing the smart thing. No need to jump, overpay, and get locked into someone right away because you want to plug a hole. Plenty of guys are still out there for us.

Yep, I really wanted Asamoah or Schwartz to shore up the OL, but didn't think Idzik would be willing to spend enough to get them. The same possibly goes for Verner. I always thought the Jets would never be players for Byrd. The only real negative is that Cro could be back and have more leverage for a better deal.

With Austin Howard possibly leaving, one replacement the Jets have inquired about is Saints' RT Zach Strief, per source. #nyj

I'd like Pettigrew....a name that has popped up but not recently.

Him, along with Sanders, Verner, and Clemons.....solid pick-ups in my eyes.

    Then maybe some OL depth.

I didnt expect him to make any moves on any hot commodities either. But damn , you would think he tries n bring n somebody early in Free Agency with all the money we have. like.. at least ONE player. lol. Im being bashed though for hoping the Jets sign an impact player though so its best i keep quiet.

i know who zach martin is.. and wilson was a #2 corner in 2012..so what your saying is since its a deep draft…were going to bank on a 3,4,5th round pick wr to come in and save our god awful offense and save the life of rex job..

if we went into the season with the d how it is right now…we would be ok

The post you quoted me , I never brought up a CB as Rd 1 prospect.. I talked about , OT, Zach Martin. You said "we don't need a CB". Anyone would think you thought ZM was a CB.

They really should go after DeMarcus Ware. Man I can't think of a more perfect fit..

I understand he's not going to come cheap and all and that its a risk. But you got to put your balls on the line once in awhile. This team hasn't had a freakin decent pass rusher since Abraham. Here you have a great pass rusher that excels in the role AND scheme that they've been chasing for years.

These signings aren't as disasterous as they used to be anyway. Front load that shit and get yourself an escape clause after a year or 2if it doesn't work out. He's worth taking a chance

TJ Ward to the Broncos for about $5.5m/yr. $14m guaranteed. Nice pickup for a weak Denver secondary.

Strief is gonna be 31 in September. He's nothing more than a stop-gap. Raiders will throw everything at Howard most likely
