    Cards advance!

Barely, as the go ahead run was on in the 9th.

Kershaw a choker? He pitched very good but damn the guy is like reminding me of Lebron getting owned by the Celtics...

Cardinals-Giants again? I'm sick of them but I hate the Nationals so much. #dilemma

I think cards-giants would be epic, the postseason kings going head to head. Fuck the Nats.

He is just going to have to overcome his deamons, nothing in the regular season matters next season for him, his season will begin when the 2015 postseason starts (of course they have to be in it).

Bryce Harper is extremely unlikeable. Now I really really really really want the Giants to win.

No baseball until Friday because no division series went 5 games.

So two days off before the ALCS.

Kinda nuts the Giants are the last team in California standing. The A's at one point were on top of the MLB, then the Angels went crazy in the 2nd half, and the Dodgers play well all season.

Props to San Francisco, the NLCS is going be war I think. I hope the AL team wins it all but in all likelihood it will be th NL winner.

Big game James Shields hasn't been too impressive in the big games I've seen him play. Maybe it's time for a new nickname? lol

This is such a shocking run right now with the Royals 6 straight postseason wins.

He doesn't deserve that nickname. The biggest games are in the postseason and he's come up small. He never goes deep into games in the postseason.

    9 starts, 3-4 record, 5.19 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, 50 1/3 IP (about 5.6 IP per start), 61 hits, 7 homers, only 40 strikeouts

His playoff stats are down across the board from his regular season stats. SO/BB ratio, K/9, ERA, WHIP, HR/9, etc.

In fact, he hasn't had a single dominant postseason start. He's never won a World Series and I doubt that'll change this year.

Game 3 of the ALCS was postponed.

Game 3 is now scheduled for tomorrow. Everything in the series pushed back a day.

All 4 starting pitchers got pulled early today and none of them got shelled.

Chen threw 80 pitches, Guthrie 94, Lackey 79, Hudson 89
