3rd quarter sunk the Knicks, as usual.

They couldn't find reliable scoring and drifting away from the ball movement. The Hawks also started to hit open shots. The lack of free attempts is a huge concern.

Without Pablo as backup PG, the Knicks offense stalls out quite quickly unless they can move in transition. Hopefully him or Calderon gets better soon

Vuvecic did a nice job breaking up the Melo play.

It was weird having a timeout at the end of the game and Melo being placed out of the game so he doesn't accidentally pick up his 6th intentionally fouling

Besides that Fisher was just throwing everything at the wall and nothing worked consistently.

Shump hit double digits again with points, I think he's done that all year, needs to cut down on fouls.
Jason Smith wasn't confident in his mid range jumper today, had tons of looks.

This team makes me sad :( So what players should I start paying attention to for the 2015 nba draft?

Hey a win! A great JR and Melo game!

Dalembert also helped out defensively. Guys made timely buckets and the Nuggets had one of the worst scoring quarters in the second quarter

The Knicks are so damn frustrating. You can't tell me they were trying the whole game.

Knicks get down big, have a furious comeback that falls just short, lose game by 4

    Typical.

Oh and JR was cold all game except for hitting a very important 3 to give the Knicks an extra moment of hope, because that's JR for you

The foul by Hardaway was a mistake. Not sure who told him to foul, or if he decided to do it himself but they should have known better.

No Knick had the knack late in the game.

Melo left at the end of the 2nd Q with back spasms, didn't return.

Pablo, Shump, Amare all ahd open looks late that didn't fall.

Harden hit mostly everything late and executed the PnR perfectly.

    Rockets win

Secondly, what was the spread for the game? Or the over/under?

The Knicks were down 5 and intentionally fouled 2-3 times and the refs never called it and let the clock run. Two guys grabbed harden then Shump two armed grabbed someone else and the clock ran out.

Knicks played the Mavs tough. Too many turnovers in OT. Amare just can't be the main offensive weapons anymore, but the Knicks tried to force it in OT and had too many turnovers. Jose had himself a game.

Knicks play OKC tonight without Melo and OKC has Westbrook back

Knicks got Melo back, still lose to Miami. Lots of close losses which I guess are good?

Still disappointed. The Knicks are managing Melo's minutes a lot better, but man I severely underestimated our lack of a 2 way big man

Knicks lose again. Really weird loss. Down 3 with around 10 seconds left Fisher calls timeout, the ref looks at him, ignores it, looks at him again, ignores it, and Melo misses a 3.

Very weird, coaches can definitely call timeouts in the NBA, curious to here why the ref missed it

Jose is a lot of fun to watch. JR was out with the flu. Timmy is ice cold. Weird to see when he was one of the only sparks last year

Knicks have the Cavs at home then at CHA at a B2B Thursday/Friday.

A break on SAT, game on Sunday against POR, break on Monday, then B2B Wed/Thurs against NOP and SAS.

The Charlotte game I bet gets really weird. Two bad teams. Al Jefferson should have fun, Amare/Cole/Dalembert will have their work cut out for them.

Awful way to lose. So far Derek Fisher seems over his head.

definitely a bit. I like how he rests Melo to try and keep him fresh for late in the game. I also like how he isn't afraid to ride the hot hand and bench the cold one. Lack of two way players really hurting the Knicks.

@FisolaNYDN Which is what you do during Knicks games, correct?

Isola with a good first punch, Cimini counters back. Sports worlds colliding.
