I hated expansion. I wish the ACC still had 8-9 teams.

The worst thing they did was mix football with basketball. It was great Miami was winning titles but once VaTech, Miami and BC left they were doomed. When they bloated up to 18 teams or whatever they had it was terrible. Had the BE played their cards right they probably would have been in much better shape today and still around.

Don't worry.... I'm sure they still have 5 or 6 losses before the committee removes them from a #1 seed

Hey Junc, has there been a more unpredictable team in the ACC for the past five years than Miami? On any given game it seems like they can be a pushover or be dangerous.

That was all Michael Vick's fault when he reneged on his verbal to Syracuse. Great story, but a tragic one that ultimately destroyed the BE for good.

another nice win for the Heels, a few suspect plays late made it close but they held on as Roy continues his domination of NC State and Marcus Paige looked like preseason POY candidate Marcus Paige. He looks like he is finally breaking out though Joel Berry is now out for a month or so which hurts.

Heels win again, Va Tech isn't good but they had no trouble which was nice for a change.

Duke is young, still trying to figure out how to play excellent defense. Cook and Jones must stay infront of their men. VS NCSt, and Miami they struggled. Excellent job by Coach K to finally play some zone for heavens sake. Louisville was stifled by the change from Duke's normal "Ball-you-man" defense.
College hoops is starting to warm up a bit. It ought to be a good NCAA tournament.

Nice win for the Heels last night crushing Wake Forest on the road who isn't a good team but has played very competitively especially at home. They just dominated inside but another injury mars the win a bit. Theo Pinson went down w/ an injured foot and missed most of the game. Hopefully it's not serious, they have lost a ton of guards already- Berry, White and Davis are already out and Paige has been playing hurt pretty much all year. Luckily they had depth in the backcourt but they are running out.
