JR Smith finally got hot, but it was too late

I'm not surprised at Games 4-6, as GS is the far superior team. I'm just confused as to how the Warriors lost twice.

One of the most impressive seasons ever, although they didn't face a great team in the Finals.

The numbers they put up in a very difficult West...

We saw why tonight Phil traded Iman and JR Shit to the Cavs.

Lebron with one of the greatest Finals series performances of all time, yet because his team was so undermanned and taking his team to 6 games was not enough. They gave the Finals MVP to Andre Iguodala.

What a joke that one to me...I like Andre but everyone saw LeBron with an incredible series here. Even tonight he just had no one out there. Worse support then 2007.

Andre also I think had the worst performance from the FT line in the Finals. It is also not like he shutdown LeBron this series. Lebron still averaged like 34 ppg

stupid question but can a player on the losing team get MVP? If so LeBron was clearly the MVP but if not EagalDolla was overall better than Curry.

    yeah it's true

Iguana was the most deserving Warrior, and they never give the MVP to losing players anymore

LeBron the only player on Cleveland

he did have a pretty poor shooting series, though. Under 40% for a guy playing inside a lot.

yes they can but it's been a long time since a player in a US major sport has won a finals MVP while losing

at least it has in the NFL and NBA

the writers just pick someone from the winning team

LVP was either Shumpert or JR Smith

    Figures, Knicks

Either way I think its safe to say CAVS will be back if team stays healthy. The EAST is shit so it wouldnt be that difficult.

they should be, as long as LeBron is there

the East just doesn't have good teams

Maybe the Heat will be good next year but Wade is about finished, so I don't know.

Yes, last NBA Finals MVP from a losing team I think was in 1969

    Jerry West

by the way I forgot to mention this but Steve Kerr means business. You can tell after those loses he was going to cook up something special and is a no nonsense 'ima F your team up' coach.

Well it makes sense that he got MVP, because when he got put in the starting lineup, they didn't lose again. It's the change that made them win.

I am still surprised Curry got zero votes though. Also it's weird that somebody on Bleacher Report has a vote haha. wtf...

All that shows is he was more valuable than the player he replaced, not that he was the most valuable player in the series or that he was more valuable to the Warriors than Lebron was to the Cavs.

It was a smart strategic decision by Kerr.

Really not sure how Curry doesn't get at least 1 vote.

Not a huge NBA fan, see very little of the West, but that dude is incredible. Iggy was great but Curry was the reason they won IMHO.

Sounds like Towns is going 1 and Lakers at 2 is up in the air

They could trade for Cousins, take Okafor, or take Russell

First time in my life I will be watching an NBA draft live. Either I am getting old or this NBA Draft generated enough buzz for a guy who never watches an NBA game from start to finish.
