You guys watching this Rockets and Suns game? What's the record for 3's in a game? Cuz this shit is insane.

    only one game Thursday (Cleveland/Chicago).

Some teams are already at the All Star break (Denver, Philadelphia, etc.) while others will be there after they play tonight.

Paul George set to come back in March... i knew he wouldn't be down all year.. but speaking of which the Pacers are putting a beating on New Orleans early.

tonight's game. The World has Wiggins but it seems to me the US is stronger overall.

    World All Stars
    Giannis Antetokounmpo - Bucks
    Bojan Bogdanovic - Nets
    Matthew Dellavedova - Cavaliers
    Gorgui Dieng - Timberwolves
    Dante Exum - Jazz
    Rudy Gobert - Jazz
    Nikola Mirotic - Bulls
    Kostas Papanikolaou - Rockets
    Dennis Schroder - Hawks
    Andrew Wiggins - Timberwolves

    USA All Stars
    Trey Burke - Jazz
    Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - Pistons
    Robert Covington - 76ers
    Zach LaVine - Timberwolves
    Shabazz Muhammad - Timberwolves
    Nerlens Noel - 76ers
    Victor Oladipo - Magic
    Elfrid Payton - Magic
    Mason Plumlee - Nets
    Cody Zeller - Hornets

Covington does not belong in the game. Michael Carter-Williams was supposed to be there, but they had to replace him, and they chose a Philly teammate for some bizarre reason.

Covington is a beast. He is way better than at least 3 or 4 of the guys in this game. IDK why you're giving him no credit. To me, he has been the surprise of the year. I agree though, that the team USA is better. It should be fun to watch Americans vs Non-Americans.

he's 6'9, shoots under 40% and averages under 5 rebounds per game

he's also starting for the 76ers, and is part of the reason they're the worst team in the NBA.

Philly's point differential is even worse than it was last season!

Not that MCW is that good right now, but I respect his talent more than I do Covington's. Too bad MCW is out.

Are you watching this celeb thing? I tried but it's bad enough that I'd rather play Madden. I'll be watching the other game though.

I'd watch the futures thing if I could but I probably won't be able to

I've never watched the celebrity game

It's so hard to watch people 5 feet tall struggle to get the ball to the basket from the 3 point line, and even harder to watch missed layup, after missed layup.

Thoughts on the 3 point contest, and slam dunk contest?

I'm just hoping for a good show with the 3 point contest. I don't really care who wins. They (for once) all deserve to be there. I'm obviously rooting for Alphabet in the slam dunk contest.

Celeb game is fun for me because it's silly. I never actively watch it, but it's always in the background.

Judging 3pt contest is tough. Everyone in it has quick releases which is beneficial.

Dunk contest, I think Levine is the hyped up favorite. He has a couple dunk contests under his belt where he throws down some good dunks

    3 point favorites:

    Curry, Korver, Thompson

    dunk contest:

LaVine is the odds on favorite, and everyone I've heard talk about it (TV announcers) likes him to win.

Zach Lavine with the Space Jam dunk, it's a wrap! Lol that was so epic.

    Beverly the only surprise winner.

Bosh's team lives for shooting stars challenge. Curry for 3 pt and Lavine for dunk were favorites.

Mason Plumlee has no business participating in the dunk contest and the Greek Freek should be booed out of Brooklyn.

If it weren't for Lavine and the oladipo dunk , this would have been the worst dunk contest in history IMO.

I don't think anyone aside from the idiots in charge really understands how Plumlee got into this.
What are his qualifications? That he plays for the Nets?

The Nets had to have someone in this?

He had zero shot to win and everyone knew it.

if I was making a list of people I wanted to see in the dunk contest, I could easily reel off 100 names before I got to anyone named Plumlee.

It was a Brooklyn night, so they had to pep that up overboard. They were trashing the contest all night on the radio lol.
