Cavs just had the best sequence I've seen all year.

Blocked alley oop, back tapped, alley oop dunk

then JR Smith later in the third tried a ridiculous 360 reverse dunk and got stuffed by the rim

he could've had 2 easily but he wanted a highlight

Kyrie Irving also just made a ridiculous shot

defender bought the pump fake, collided heavily with him, and he somehow threw in a 20+ footer

Kobe Bryant has sustained a tear of the rotator cuff. Damn, this might be the last of Kobe Bryant.

Sad thing to happen..For lots of us, he was the man growing up. I grew up at the very end of Jordan's prime, and the beginning of Kobe. Before we know it, Lebron will be in that spot next, which is crazy to think about.

kobe starting all-star? As much as i love kobe that pisses me off just like last year. Glad kobe is humble enough to pass on it, definitely isn't AS arrogant as most think.. he still is though, just not that much lol. I know he's hurt and probably won't play anyway but be real... Kobe is washed up. 37 shots to get 38 points is not all-star material. Even the games he did play he wasn't putting up an all-star performance. Fan voting gotta stop.. this twitter shit ruined all-star games for all sports

Nets at Staples Center, losing 89-44 to the Clippers

OTOH, the Bulls blew out the Spurs

I'm pretty sure All Star is baked into some contract escalators which makes the fan vote thing interesting. BUT, it is a game for the fans and the players don't try. If the players want someone, let that person be on the team. Why not. It always comes down to if the game is close in the lat 5-8 minutes, then they try. Otherwise it's a constant highlight show for 3 and half quarters.

That's why All Star games are separate from All NBA teams.

I really am behind with all these confusing acronyms I keep seeing on TGG.

Anyway yeah I picked a bad, bad night to do some parlays. I did straight and spread. It didn't go well. I didn't even check the results yet, but I'm pretty sure I didn't win a single game even. Ouch

    I got destroyed last night

Bucks -400 to win, Bucks -8, spurs/bulls over 103 second half, Federer to win

    sharapova/ziyas over 18

    must've lost about 1500

I feel you.. maybe back 10 years ago when all-star games meant something to the players spoiled me.. back when players wore their own team jerseys during the game. I also hate the east west format for the saturday events

I was just rewatching the 3 point contest from last year, and it sucked. It made no sense the way they did brackets. They should just do a standard 8 man tournament.

Jesus. Sorry to hear. I also went in on Spurs, with ml, and spread. I did the same with Milwaukee, tho I should have known. The jazz play hard, and Milwaukee actually sucks at home. Then Portland didn't cover either.

I bet Milwaukee because Favors was out. Didn't seem to matter.

Tonight Klay Thompson had 37 in a quarter!
