This post is asinine. Why do you keep bringing up the '12 West Conference finals? That was a completely different team, THAT team had Harden. Stop bringing that up if it is relevant to this discussion. Second, the SPURS ARE the BEST team in the West. The Spurs are the best team in the NBA, until someone takes away their crown. They are the DEFENDING Champs, they are the best team in the West and the league, period. Over the years the Spurs completely changed their offensive system, and THAT is why they are now sucessful. The only reason I've brought up other teams, is because you're quite arrogant, for a fan that has never saw his team win a title. I don't care if the Thunder win the title or not, they are not my team. I'm just giving you my honest opinions. If OKC wins it all, good for them; I don't care.

@BigSnacks54 who do you root for again? Heat? Sorry I know you've said it, just can't remember.

And yes I will celebrate regular season wins, because we're under .500 and since seeding is SOOOO important, every game counts.

Yes, I root for the Heat, we've had a rough season, but I think we'll win a series. Fans of championship contenders usualy don't celebrate regular season wins. I have no idea, who said OKC wouldn't make the playoffs, I most definitely did not. They should win 52 games or so. We'll see what seed that land them in the West.

What do you think of Deng? He's on my team, and every time i start him, i feel like he is average. I bench him, and he always blows up lol.
And yeah, normally i wouldn't get too giddy, but after all that losing, this feels great. Plus like i said, every game is important. It could be the difference in the 4 seed, vs 7 seed.

Deng is solid, but he's not the same player he used to be.

I'd bench him, he'll have an offensive outburst here or ans there, but for the most part he'll be medicore offensively .

Good. I hope we get the Spurs round 1. I'd LOVE that. because it's gonna come down to that anyway, rather get them out of the way quick.

Was very surprised Kobe didn't dominate the ball in OT. Lin made a terrible pass to Nick Young instead of Wes Johnson open in the corner late, but Young hit the deep 3 and won the game.

Young was unstoppable. Every 3 ball he made was like 3-4 feet off the arc.

So I was looking at my fantasy sports profile, and I came across my first fantasy teams ever, back in 2003. I was turning 15 that year, and enjoyed playing basketball, but I seldom watched it. When I did, I liked to watch the Nets. (BTW, is it a coincidence that the NY teams are named Jets, Nets, and Mets?) My favorite player was Jason Kidd. Funny right? Now he is the head coach of my Bucks. It's funny how some things work in life.

Anyway, back then in 2003 I made a fantasy basketball team, despite being 97% completely clueless about what to do.

Fast forward to the current day, I'm in my 3rd year of fantasy basketball being a big hobby for me. I had just 1 team in 2012, then 2 last year, and now for better or worse, 3 this year. The only player I have owned all 3 years, is (certainly randomly) Nene Hilario. I for the most part was already aware of this however.

Now the part I left out was that in 2003, the team I made was 1 that I don't think I ever looked at. So tonight I checked it out, and my roster from it is still saved. I thought it was hilarious, that I had Derek Fisher one of my all time favorites, and of course Jason Kidd. Then I laughed about having Shane Battier. THEN I was mind blown. I saw..none other..than f'n Nene Hilario on my team. Just wow. What are the chances?

Well @JetLifeLo At least our Thunder won by 24 today, and beat the 8th seeded team.

    At least we have that.

not just won..we dominated again. Westbrook having that MVP caliber season i been talking about all summer.. I really believe this is our best team yet. Can't wait til we play Golden State later this week.

We will for sure lose cuz KD and West can't coexist don't you know

Seriously though, Russell is the fucking man. Not one player in the world is balling like he is right now. Since he has been back, his floor has been 25/5/5. Just sick.

If he playoffs had an overall MVP besides the Finals MVP Westbrook would have gotten that by a LONG shot. He's taking this league by storm. Just pray somebody doesn't hurt him again lol his injuries aren't self inflicted.

Duncan, Parker, Splitter, and Ginobili sitting tonight against Portland. Tail end of a back to back.

They have two back to backs this week, it was bound to happen with one of them. I'm not sure Parker would have been playing anyway, he looked bad against the Lakers and sat last night.

Pretty sure Manu tweaked his back in the third or fourth quarter last night.

Edit: Forgot to mention, Kahwi came in with an injured hand and played 36 mins, had 18 pts, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 6 blocks, 5 steals and was a perfect 6 for 6 from the line. The only real complaint is that he was 0-2 from the arc.

Dude is going to earn that contract.
