what's the deal with Talib? he's playing tremendously so far. would be a big hit to the Pats if he can't go tomorrow.
With all our losses on offense, somebodies going to have to step up for Geno? Hill, Cumberland, anybody? anybody?
Jets will lose to Gronk and Thompkins alone. We won't put up anything against their D and we will once again be "hyped" for this game and be embarrassed...
Here's what will happen: In the locker room, Rex will be yelling and screaming back and forth. Trying to motivate his team. Almost to the point of fainting. Player: Coach. Is there something wrong? Rex: I don't know. This. This may be the end of me here. As coach. If I don't win this game. Player: Not you, coach. Geno: Give me the rock. Player: What? Geno: Give me that ____ rock!! (someone flips him a ball) All the players start clapping and start cheering and cussing. Then go out and murder the Pats. Rex ends up crying his job saved! Well that's how I see it .....
here's how I see Rex- Guys if I lose this game I lose my job Asshole player not named Tone- Do we all lose our jobs Rex- of course not, they blame everything on me and Sanchez player- sounds like a personal problem then
Just google "odds of converting 4th and 1". Study after study backs up what I'm saying now, and have been saying for years. Sooner or later coaches and fans will start to realize how foolish it is not to go for it on 4th and 1 ... ESPECIALLY inside the 5 yard line. Kicking FG's from there is just off-the-charts the wrong move 90% of the time. Let me ask you this, and answer honestly. When we're defending on our 1 yard line, and the opposing coach decides to kick the FG, how do you feel? For me, the reaction is ... Whew! They're settling for 3. We dodged a bullet. And I bet almost everyone else feels the same way. What does that tell you? Conversely, when they decide to try to punch it in, are you high-fiving their "stupidity" or are you saying ---" oh shit. I wish they would kick the damn FG here"
Their best player at every level of their Defense is out since the first time we played them. No Wilfork, Mayo and Talib. We should be able to score more than 13 points on them. This is a winnable game if our offense doesn't turn the ball over.
Hopefully, we get to watch the end of Tom Brady's season live and in person tomorrow at Jet Life... GO JETS
Wonder who is going to cover Julian Edelman, rejuvenated Austin Collie and the emerging Kenbrell Thompkins. With Rob Gronkowski back, these guys will get some one on one looks. Looks that they can beat routinely. I also like how Aaron Dobson improves each week. Made some big time plays in the clutch and down the field. Look for the crew to build on that tomorrow. As for the defense, with Hightower in the middle Jamie Collins finally gets to join Ninkovich and Chandler in rushing the passer. In the secondary, Alfonzo Dennard and Arrington are playing outstanding football that nobody is talking about, as well as Devin McCourty who has been HUGE at Free Safety. I see a double digit win for us tomorrow.
