Good, I'm confident that our O line will play a blinder . If happens expect our HBs to see more action. So nothing new here then? No one gives us a chance against the hallowed Pats and saint Belichick. Rex needs to post these hacks comments on the locker room wall, no more motivation needed.
Win is a win. Love from the media doesn't win games. Jets wouldn't give a rats ass if nobody will give them credit for a win. Barely 2-0 is just as good as 2-0 with style.
That's true but the flip side of that is if we need to be gifted wins or only win games against teams that are crippled by injury we aren't going to be getting many more of them. Just saying. I'll take them but it's not as exciting as it would otherwise would be.
Any win is exciting to me We're without some injured or inactive players in Goodson, Coples and then we got limited guys in Ellis, Holmes and Winslow Topped off by starting 4 rookies and 6 first time starters in Allen, Davis, Harrison Powell, Cumberland and Ducasse
New England hit a FG with 7 seconds left after the Bills couldn't pick up a first down. Steven Jackson dropped a game winning TD against New Orleans with 20 seconds left. DeAngelo Williams fumbles on the Seattle 8 yard line with 5 minutes left costing Carolina a chance at a go ahead TD. Oakland was down by 4 and had 1st and Goal on Indy's 8 yard line until a sack by Mathis for a loss of 16 essentially ended the game. After 5 turnovers, the Giants had the ball 1st and 10 at mid-field with 2 minutes left down by 6 with a chance to win until a ball bounces off a RB for a pick-6. Houston was down 21 in the 3rd quarter. A bad penalty call nullifying a FG and adding 4 points plus a gift pick-6 put them right back in the game when they win on a last second FG. The NFL is full of these types of games each week. What do people consider "gift" wins or "lucky" wins? I mean, at least 5 games every week come down to one or two plays that could be considered luck for one team.
New England will win by 2 TDs.. It will be closer than that, with the Jets down by only a TD late. They will press or something to try and close the gap and the Pats will get a late pick 6 or something to seal the deal and fuck all the betters that took the Jets @ 12.5 Just for shits and giggles, I'll go with: NE 31 Jets 17
Dont forget Kerley. When you think about it, we arent too healthy either. I mean people forget that Holmes is actually a quality WR when healthy. Coples is one of our best passrushers, Goodson is probably our best best return man and passcatching back, and Kerley is our best healthy WR. People will complain that Ammendola, Vareen and Gronk are out, but not a word will be said about our players missing.
Unfortunately yes, it would be amazing if NBC could get the rights to these games. They do the Thursday game week 1 but thats it. The NFLN is so crappy tbh.
20-17 Pats is my predictions. I think we lose a close game. Its still Tom Brady on the road. It is a winnable road game and would be huge if we could pull it off but if I had to make a prediction I dont think we pull it off.
