Well, Vegas likes to make money and they often know things that we don't. The majority of people are betting on the Jets, but I don't see the line moving too much. Talk about the spread, but the over/under at this game is at 41-points, which is the lowest in the NFL this week right now. Defensive match-ups will have a lot to say about who wins The Jets are 1-3 on the road, including a couple of spankings. They also seem to like to win every other week for some reason, and this is the odd week. If you remember the first time the Jets played the Bills, the Bills' entire secondary was out...the entire secondary, no exaggeration. The one healthy guy was a Safety, and he was moved to Cornerback. Justin Rogers, the #4 corner on the depth chart was the #1 corner that week. He was torched for 254 yards, 2 touchdowns, and also a sizable pass interference call. All that on only 6 passes (7 including the PI). Anyway, the entire secondary is now back healthy, and Geno won't have Justin Rogers to pick on this time. On the other side of the ball, you are right; the Bills will be in trouble without their two top WRs if Stevie Johnson is out. Robert Woods is the #2 guy, no matter what the depth chart says. Like you say, he's out. We'll see if Stevie will be out, too. Manuel likes to check down a lot so far anyway, so expect some screens to the running backs if those guys are out. Spiller can line up as WR too, and he's done that in the past. The Bills still do have their speedsters that can stretch the field, but QB is an issue there. I think the key for the Jets is to stop the run which, like you say, is their strength. They are #1 at that in both yardage allowed and yards-per-carry, which is the true measuring stick. If the Jets get any kind of sizable lead and force Manuel to beat them in the passing game, that's what you want; otherwise, the Bills will continue to try to run the ball and have a somewhat balanced attack that favors the run...play field position, and all that.
Because the odds makers have seen us shit the bed every other week and have confidence that we will do the same against Buffalo. It is up to us to prove them wrong.
Given history and Rex off the bye-week, you think the JETS roll through this one...... for some reason I feel a disturbance in the force.
yeah, I worded that wrong..... it was before my morning coffee. Let's just hope they stayed focused during the bye after a big win...... I think this weekend show's if they have the killer instinct needed to really be in the playoff hunt.

Stevie Johnson should not be playing this week. It'll be real hard for the Jets to lose. Mike Rodak@mikerodak Marrone said Stevie Johnson hasn't officially been ruled out, but "doesn't feel good" about him playing Sunday. Joe Buscaglia @JoeBuscaglia Stevie Johnson is not practicing. #Bills-Thursday Chris Brown @ChrisBrownBills Stevie Johnson not practicing here on Wednesday (groin) #Bills
that's a nice break. Woods is out too. They won't have many weapons. Unfortunately we will be missing Kerley. If Geno protects the ball, I think we win. Expect a conservative gameplan early.
We won't need Kerley as long as we have Holmes, Winslow and Cumberland. Our run game should open things up for Geno against a mediocre Bills run defense. We're facing the Bills without any significant weapons in their passing game + a rookie QB with 6 starts under his belt going against a monster front 7 + Ed Reed helping out in the secondary + the Jets coming off a BYE. As long as we don't hand them a pile of turnovers, I'm expecting to win this game comfortably. Without any big strike ability, they'll need to sustain long drives on the ground against the best rushing defense in the NFL. I don't think they can do it. Jets 24 Bills 13
