With 2 weeks to prep for this game, I expect a quality performance. Obviously, it's not easy to sweep division games. It should be a hard fought battle, but if we protect the football we should win this game. Running the football will be key, it won't be as easy to pass on them this time.
Both teams are young and shaky at times...and I've noticed when something really 'good' happens early in the game it really fires up the players...they seem to play with an extra 'energy', smiles, high fives, etc. this goes for either team, so let's hope something really good happens for the Jets early on.
Buffalo is a really competitive team. They took the Bengals to OT and outplayed KC with backup QBs. I think they're much better than a 3-6 team, and we will have our hands full. The extra week of rest/prep will be huge for us. They will adjust to the Cover 1/overload blitzing we did so much the first time. Hopefully we can get pressure with the front 4.
No question. In HALF the Bills' division games, the opponent gets more rest, time to get healthy, and time to prepare this year. That's terrible right there, if you aren't a Jets fan, that is. Then there are the other three games on top of that where the opponent gets more time to rest and prepare...for a grand total of six games. This disadvantage is singular to the Bills. You see the same basic trend happening against the Bills last year too. Get this: the Bills played the Patriots FOUR YEARS IN A ROW when the Patriots were coming off of their bye-week. As if the Pats needed that edge anyway, but some of those games were close. Joke about a "scheduling conspiracy" all you want (for the guy that did), but these things defy the laws of probability. I agree that more attention should be paid, at least.
in typical jet fashion we will lose like 20-6 in a game we should win vs a terrible qb to rip our hearts out after starting to think we are good.
A brief historical review of the predictions of jerseyjay14 AKA "Mr Positive" for the season to date preseason --- "4-12, no better" week 5 at ATL-- Jets will get "steamrolled" week 7 vs NE - "makes no difference, we're not going to score" and now in week 11 above if nothing else, JJ14 is consistant
I don't put much stock into that. Each situation is separate. I think they'll put together a quality game plan but it will be a hard fought game because the Bills are no pushover.
Two of those three losses were against last year's 11-5 Seahawks and the 10-6 Superbowl champion Packers
In 2010 we should have and could have beaten the Pack. We were just significantly unprepared for that game. And last season we were in the Seahwaks game for a long time. Stupid play calls, and etc
idk about you guys, but i think ej manuel might be the easiest QB for us to play against. there is tape on him and quite honestly, at this point in his career i don't think he's that good. thad lewis scared me more lol
