    Posted in the other thread....
There are some sharp money coming in on Bills, I expect some shady business during the game.

Ed Reed is starting at safety for Antonio Allen. That didn't take long. #nyj

    Weather update from accuweather

Some occasional showers, temps around 60 and wind gusts in the 20s range until evening when heavier rain and winds kick in....

The Jets may not be able to fly home with the Big W until the AM

This will not be an easy game to win.

The Bills are not a bad team. Its a game between two very similar teams. Two very good DL's. Two rookie QBs. Both teams with with little in terms of receiving targets. The game comes down to can the Jets contain Bufflao's running game from ripping off a few big plays similar to the Jackson play in week 3 or the CJ Spiller plays last year. Can the Jets offense be efficient. The Jets bring one of the worst run blocking and worst pass blocking OL's in football against a very good Bill front. Unless Ivory can break tackle after tackle like he did against the Saints its unlikely we will be able to run the ball at all against the Bills. Which means the entire offense again will be on Geno. But with the Bills having Byrd healthy and both CBs this time I don't expect us to go deep like in week 3 and likely stick to a short passing game, Our best OL this year by far Howard is matched up again with Williams who Howard has dominated. The Jets have been very god at moving the chains between the 20's all year. very good at converting 3rd downs. But not very good inside the 20. It would be nice to see us start converting more of these drives into TDs.

This is a game we could easily lose. The Bills overall are a better and more talented team than us in almost every area but we have found a way to win games we should not have won all year and the Bills seem to find a way to lose close games. Plus we desperately need this game and Buffalo does not. I expect to see us give our best effort today.

How are the experts picking? Not that it matters much, just curious.

The Bills aren't overall more talented at all. Their QB stinks, they aren't strong at WR, their OL isn't great. Defensively they're good but so are the Jets. The Jets QB is better, Jets Wr's & TE's combined are better, OL is better, DL is at the least just as good and probably better. Bills have a better secondary and better RB's. Jets have better kicker also.

The only area we are stonger is QB. Their OL is much better, their RBs are better, their receiving core is better and their secondary is better. Our DL IMo is better but their DL is also very good. We may not be as talented but we are a better team. We win games we should not and they find a way to lose games they should not. We have a QB that can sustain drives, convert 3rd downs and move the ball between the 20's. That is the big difference. But talent wise they are a stronger team.

Completely disagree. The interior of their Oline is terrible. The Jets dominated their Oline last time to the tune of 8 sacks, some were on EJ but they were still getting great pressure. I expect much of the same today.

Two of the Jet OL are Pro Bowlers, Colon is real good, Howard is good, Winters is good, I don't get how the Bills OL is better.

And what's so hot about their WR'ing core? Holmes, Hill, Kerley, Nelson, Cribbs, Cumberland, Winslow,,, I don't see the Bills unit as being better. Stevie Johnson is good, the rest is ordinary.

3 of our OL Colon, Mangold and Ferguson rank among the bottom 10 in the league in run blocking. Winters has struggled with run blocking and pass blocking. Ferguson has been torched game after game in pass blocking. Mangold has also struggled in pass blocking. The only OL we have that has been above average this year has been Howard. Mangold, D'Brick, Colon and Winters have all been below average players this year. Hopefully as Mangold gets healthier he will regain some form. But our OL play has dropped considerably and its not anything close to what it was last year. But that goes without saying lose our best OL last year in Moore and in losing Slauson,

No I don't like that move at all. I know Reed is a future HOF but we are rebuilding and Allen has steadily been better, I hope this doesn't derail Allens mental state and development
