Wait a second, have you visited this forum before? Talking about the height of your wide receivers.... I wasn't posting then, but I remember Chargers fans coming on here saying their WRs are too tall for Revis and then Lito I think.
Are you aware that Doug Martin (the Muscle Hamster) has only one fumble throughout his NFL career? And even THAT was a fluke???
No, haven't posted here before. But VJAX is a tall rcvr. Since he's been with the Chargers before, I can understand... I'm just giving out facts regarding my current Bucs so that you won't sleep and think this game is a cakewalk...
I don't think anyone thinks it's a cakewalk. It's just that with the Pats, Falcons, Saints, Bengals, and Steelers on the schedule for the 1st 9 games, the Bucs, Bills, and Titans are the most "winnable" games for the Jets on paper, in no order. For a team that many will think will struggles, a team likes yours is a good example of a game we could sneak away from with a W.
The only shot the Jets have at .500 this season is if the defense is a top 5 unit in terms of points allowed and top 10 in turnovers.
Dude, relax. ^^ We're in rebuild mode, if that concept even exists anymore in the NFL. With that said, if our D get their mojo going as early as this game, I think Freeman might very well have a harder time moving the chains than Geno, who'll be running a tailored failsafe MM offense.
We are going to light em up 23-13 Jets! Book it Their OL is shit and cant handle our DL... Freeman will be on his ass or hurried on every play.
Red Barron I'm far from a "homerism". If I thought the Jets would lose I would be the first to say. Imo I don't think the Bucs are that good. The Bucs traded for a guy coming off a ACL tear and sign a safety that may only be good because of 9ers front 7. Now your offense is not very good but Martin. Plus by you even saying that your opinion it 50/50 tells me that deep down you don't think your Bucs are very good either. Considering all the so called experts got the Jets as one of the worse time in the NFL.
I'm emotionally invested because we are not in rebuild mode... I respect the Jets, I really do. That doesn't mean I want to lose to them though (especially with the [powerhouses on our schedule])...
In the NFL, every game is winnable. And unless you are living in 2003, the Bucs are not at the same level as the Pats, Falcons, Saints, or Bengals. At least not yet - they could very well get there, and this season is there best chance to prove it - but they aren't there yet. ^I'm not making any claims about the Jets in this post, by the way, in case you wanted to make some sort of comeback.
Sorry but this is not gonna be the year for the Bucs. Freeman is not good and it's going to become painfully obvious.
This exciting conversation with our Tampa guest reminds me about prolonged arguments with our Toronto residents before the first game last season. How did the great Buffalo whooping ended?
I respect you Geno007.... I really do. I can feel the sincerity through your typed words... But this is not a matter of respect (which I have in abundance for you)... This is about belief... I don't believe your team can beat my team... Now give me your psychological evaluation on that... Damit
That cool I'm glad u "believe" ur team can win. But it funny u had no reply about what I said about your team. You sound more like your hoping they can win. How was that "psychological evaluation"?
Axel, once again you make it hard for me to disagree with you... But due to some of these other posters, doggonit I'm gonna try...
