Stop being so negative. Have some faith in the kid as he is the QB for today. Let him play. Fuck Rex, Geno Sanchez or whoever is a reason to create a discussion.

    Today is game day.

Today is about Jets. Today is about Green and White that makes our bloods boil.

Leave your bad thoughts behind at least for another 7-8 hours.

Jets are going to run very simple plays for Geno. I doubt they take too many shots down the field. Hopefully they can engineer 10-12 play drives that end in field goals. Try to win this one 20-17. That is my pick. Jets.

    So...

You're saying that we're NOT going to win 11 games?

Odd how things change when you don't get your way. :)

    Not negative.

I hope he plays better than well enough to win.

I am hoping the coaching staff has a game plan that suits him.

More concerned with the loss of Coples, and Ellis with the back injury.

Hoping that they can get Hill on Revis and make him run all day long.

I was very clear about two rhings.

We win 11 if Sanchez starts. The Jets with Sanchez, and MM are better than TB,Buff,Tenn, and have a shot at the thurs. night game.

I have also been consistent, that Geno needs time to develop, because the offense isnt, Throw it to Stedman, or Tayvon (over 60 % of his prduction)

That having been said, I think Geno has a decent Shot at outplaying Freeman today.

Marty has a rep for scheming to his players, and he is now three weeks removed from rolling the ankle, and I never liked Freeman.

The thing to worry about is a cheap shot or late hit to get him on the sideline

No. Geno is the #1 concern. He is the piece. He can make the team competitive or the worst in the NFL. He is crucial. Hopefully he shows up and plays great.

Team wasn't going anywhere with Turnover Sanchez at the helm that's for sure. Doesn't matter the scheme, poor decision making is poor decision making. I'd rather suffer the bumps and bruises of a rookie than the bumps and bruises of a 5th year player who still plays like a rookie. At least with the former there is hope for improvement.

The real downside of sanchez's injury is that if Geno struggles all the Sanchez guys will be crowing that Sanchez would have done better. But if the OC really is the difference maker in a scheme, as the Sanchez guys claim, then Geno will perform better than Sanchez has in the past. If he does and the defense is top 10 the team will win a lot of games, But the OC only goes so far in reality.

THIS is why I would've really loved to have had Coples in the lineup raring to go.

Aside from him serving as a pass rushing threat himself, having to account for him and freeing up others to get to Freeman might've been good for a turnover or two. If nothing else, at least contributing to Freeman not feeling comfortable resulting in poor decisions (stating the obvious).

Conversely, I would've been very curious to see how TB would've attacked him when standing up and defending out in space.

Still dont understand how anyone sees a win. If its true the bucs are good at stopping the run, which wouldnt take much to do with our rbs, that'll mean geno will have to air out more which base on what we've seen is currently not a good idea.

What I find interesting is that ESPN writers suck, unless of course they happen to write or say something that supports the case on a particular day...in which case their word becomes gospel truth, until tomorrow when they say something that disagrees with the position taken in which case they go back to being worthless hacks who know nothing.
