We had some good times in Hempstead over the years..thats for sure. Used to be easier to make educated guesses/evaluations back then b/c there was more live contact &, 2-a-days open to the public. Not quite as much exposure to it all now.
I hate the fact that TC is so far north now. Hempstead was doable for me but now it's a real stretch. I miss it terribly. And the Preseason games don't do it for me either. Nothing beats the thrill of standing next to the fence. I had a nice conversation with Leon Washington and Mike Westhoff, for example. Tweets just don't cut it.
Randy Lange Sanchez throws to WR Ben Obomanu cutting across the middle of the field. The ball is deflected up and CB Cromartie grabs it for an INT. 11:53AM EDT Rich Cimini Randy Starks flashback: Sanchez almost INT by Wilkerson at line. Next play, Sanchez pretty deep ball to Hill - dropped. Shades of '12. #Jets 11:50AM EDT
Yeah you couldn't beat Hoftstra location wise(even for me in Hartford CT area). I do encourage you to make the haul up to Cortland though. It's worth the trip. It's a lot more of a laid back atmosphere w/ a lot of great country scenary/small town charm. In fact, I'd say that you may even have more luck "Standing next to the fence" there. Not nearly as consistently crowded as in Hofstra.
:metal: I've been hoping they'd use Kerley in the deep game for a long time. He has the speed and can burn DBs to make big plays. Good stuff. I want to see more attempts at this.
Eric Allen Sanchez hit Hazelton right in front of Landry. Earlier in team, Hill couldn't catch up a nice long ball from 6. Mo all over the place. 12:00PM EDT
You knew the offense would have a crappy day eventually. Rex would never say so publicly but I'm sure he wasn't happy w/ all the big plays the offense was generating downfield against his defense.Offense has a lot of moving parts & rookie QB thrown in the mix. Geno has hit his first wall..time to fight through it.
1 thing I think bothers both QBs is adjusting to the O-Line in 1s then playing with the 2s Less time more activity and the 2nd team D is no slouch
I can tolerate those struggles from a rookie. But not so much from Sanchez. This guy is literally fighting to stay in the league beyond 2013 and he's pretty much been the same ol Sanchez.
Ahh he meant team drills Sanchez 3 of 9 with a TD and INT in team drills. Geno 4 of 5 with a sack #NYJ
You can try www.espn1050.com Sometimes they stream the games, sometimes they cut the feed after the pregame show. Since it isn't really a game I would think they let it through. As far as video I seriously doubt it. +10,000 internets if you can find an SNY stream out there somewhere - been looking for years.
