    1. Milliner
    1. * Eifert, Vacarro, Jones
    2. Geno
    3. * Stedman Bailey, Keenan Allen
    5. Aboushi
    6. * S - Rambo
    7. * TE - Fauria

Ended up with starting CB,S,QB, TE, WR and OLB if we took Jones

Rather than OL and DL depth in addition to CB, QB

People really dont like the Dee Milliner pick? Dude was consensus all american at bama. He was by far the best player on the best best defense, on the best team, in the best conference. Shut up

since its al subjective, there is no way you can convince anyone they were not the best players on the board.

the campbell pick was the only one that raised eyebrows with me. but it is pretty obvious that idzick went straight down his board.

oday was a good pick and will challenge for rt.
tommy bohanon was abone to the o.c. who wil use him in the wco as a h-back and help relieve the t.e. hole we have right now.

ftr, i was screaming for j.jones but am very happy with richardson at 13 and millner at 9

It was the Steelers who seem to know a thing or two about linebackers. Jarvis Jones was just handed the torch from James Harrison who had it handed to him by Joey Portor.

I'm fine with the Milliner pick because I can't stand Kyle Wilson. It's not the pick I would have made but ..... hindsight is always 20/20

    My board would have been

    Warmack OG at 9
    Jones OLB at 13
    DJ Swearinger S in 2nd
    Terron Armstead OT in 3rd
    4th -----> traded
    AJ Kline ILB in 5th
    Ryan Griffin TE in 6th
    Da'Rick Rogers WR in 7th

I would have went with these selections:
    1st Rd.
    9. S. Floyd (DT) - Projected top 3 player talent wise in entire draft; Disruptor
    13. X. Rhodes (CB) - Tall, physical, aggressive, fits system
    2nd Rd.
    39. M. Watson (OT) - Plug into RT and Move A. Howard to LG
    3rd. Rd.
    72. D. Thomas (OG) - Plug into RG
    4th Rd.
    106. I like the Trade for C. Ivory, had I not traded, R. Nassib (QB) - just love this guy on tape
    5th Rd.
    141. J. Randle (RB)/ B. Jenkins (OLB) - love them both, leaning Jenkins for pass rush ability
    6th R.
    178. K. Barner (RB) - game breaking ability, immediate upgrade to J. Mcknight who'd also get more carries at RB with or w/o Ivory and Goodson
    7th Rd.
    215. D. Rogers (WR) - size, speed, hands... 1st rd. talent, no question i would've drafted this guy, in hindsight i say 7th cause we know he went undrafted, but realistically speaking i was hoping we would draft him from the 3rd rd on.

I'd also switch to a 4-3 D to get Ellis and Richardson on the field with Wilk, and Coples.
Pats getting Blount in trade spells bad news if we want to compete with them in our Div and imo, upgrades their RB depth, cause I believe he can be a starter on a number of teams and every down back with his pass catching and pass blocking ability. We already struggle in Run D and stopping Ridley, Bolden, and Woodhead (gone). Need to get more big bodies to collapse the pocket and squeeze running lanes imo.

I honestly can't complain a ton about the first few picks up to Aboushi. I would have taken Cornelius Washington over Aboushi, though he fell to our 6th-round pick, too. Also would have taken Da'Rick in round 5, 6 or 7.

  9. They didn't reach for any needs did they?

I'm not surprised you don't like tthe Jets draft...you always seem to find a way to come on here & try to ruin Jet fans day. Why would post draft be anhy different?

  10. Jones is dealing w/ a degenerative condition.Milliner isn't.

Additionally I stated Jones had multiple concerns..not just the medical. He looks really stiff on tape & his work outs don't do much to dispell that.I also still believe that Rex didn't see him as a fit in his D due to his lack of length/frame to add any kind of weight.

The rebuttal is that is why you are a fan and they are scouts.

In the 6th round I say pick Rambo but other than that I cannot really complain about picking offensive linemen and having depth there.

The defensive picks are fine. And Geno Smith was the top QB in the draft. For everyone saying that its dumb to pick him because they already have Sanchez is a fool.

If what I heard is correct, Milliner hasn't missed one game his career.

I would have picked Warmack at 13 and added a WR in the later rounds. That's it, though.

1 Warmack - never would have considered a CB in 1st, way too much pressure being compared to Revis day in, day out

1 Vaccaro - best S in the draft, need position, where his talent should go

2 G Smith - I'm ok with this, good value

3 Markus Wheaton WR Oregon St. - great talent, gives our QB a weapon, he runs the ball too

4 Dion Sims TE Michigan St. - he actuality went in this spot. Big TE just realizing his talent

5 After making the pick in the 4th round, then call Saints and say we'll give you #5. What are they going to do? Turn down a decent pick for a guy that is #4 on their depth chart? - we got fleeced here

With this draft, we improved out Off at QB, OG, TE, WR & RB AND got the best Safety in the draft. We would still need an OLB but you can't solve all our needs.

With Idziks draft we still need TE, WR, OLB and S

You can't trust Rex as a talent evaluator. He has proven to be suspect in this area.

I think Milliner is good but his lack of ball skills is alarming. At the combine it looked like he was trying to catch with a pair of feet instead of hands. Really bad. My biggest problem with this pick is the undo pressure this will come with being compared to Revis. Not fair to the kid.

The Jets are so naive when it comes to media spotlight. The Tebow thing and this. It's like they don't know they play in the media capital of the world, have like 8 papers covering the team and a rabid fan base.

    1st-Milliner yes...just yes.
    1st-Eifert a legit beast.
2nd-Geno Smith too good of a value to pass up.
    3rd-Keenan Allen re-jolting this offense
4th-traded. Awesome trade for Chris Ivory
    5th-Best OL available
6th-Rambo really wish we woulda got this guy.
    7th-the best WR/RB available
