Wow. Schneider to Devils. He is the heir-apparent to Marty.

Seth Jones falls to 4th overall..... unreal.

Like the Oilers' pick. D Darnelle Nurse, the obvious pick.

Donovan McNabb is his uncle, small world.

I am enjoying this draft so far. I feel bad for Luongo.

This draft is making me feel super old though. The Capitals pick was born in 1995. Crazy.

So again I ask, why is Uncle Daddy on the cover of NHL14? THEY'RE REPLACING HIM AS WE SPEAK!

Chicago re-signs Bickell and trades Bolland to Toronto for picks. They also sent Frolik to Winnipeg for picks.

The Penguins are supposedly close to re-signing Letang.

Still laughing about the Canucks trade, lots of Canucks fans were expecting the world for Luo go and then they have to settle for a first rounder for Schneider.

On the Leafs side I'm not that familiar with their picks, getting Bolland was interesting. Still feel like our biggest areas of need are #1 centre and a top four dman. So far Nonis has brought in goaltending depth and a 3rd line centre maybe a second line guy at best, which weren't really our biggest are of need.

    What a douchey question.

He's on the cover because they're paying tribute to either the greatest or second greatest goaltender in the history of the game in what by all indications is his final season. Since when is the cover reserved for the best player in the league? You mean to tell me Claude Giroux had a better 2012 then Geno Malkin?

You know, if this was 04, covers were the big deal they are now and they put Messier on it as a tribute; despite my obvious proclivities as a Devils fan, I'd have enough knowledge of the game to know what he meant and respect it.

The cover should be reserved for somebody that had a good season the year before. Isn't that kind of the point? The cover guy should be like a 90+ rated player? Brodeur was not good last season. I can't argue with his resume as an elite netminder, but this year should have been Kane, Bobrovsky, Rask, Quick etc. etc. Had it been Bordeur last year, that would make a bit more sense.

I saw The Rock is on the cover of WWE 14 and I don't even think he wrestles anymore, does he? Haha.

Well it's obviously subject to opinion. Barry Sanders was voted onto Madden cover for legend status, Brodeur being on the cover is fine imo. Datsyuk had my vote though.

The fact that the video game has more elements of competition than the league itself should tell you everything you need to know about the WWE.

I'm pretty sure the cover is a fan vote. If it was up to EA, the final wouldn't have been between Brodeur and Bobrovsky.
