Ward and Theodore OUT for perhaps the season. That hurts the Canes and Panthers bad. The South East continues to get worse..... Haha.

The Blues should seriously consider going for Luongo, they're the best team in hockey (Outside Chicago) with a solid net-minder, no question.

Blackhawks win another game. Carsillo nets the GW goal with about 45 seconds left for a 3-2 lead. CHI also dropped in a SH goal in the 3rd period.

It's unbelievable, it's like whenever they need a late goal they just say "yeah let's a goal here" and it happens.

its amazing, but the playoffs are a different beast with a 7 game series. Can teams figure out how to get ahead and keep the lead?

Right now Chicago is on course for best season ever

I can't take hockey seriously until they get rid of the utterly retarded points system. What should matter is WINS vs LOSSES. Not some arbitrary stat like OT losses. Why should a team get points simply for getting to OT a lot. That's not an accomplishment. Good teams WIN before overtime. I can't stand that nonsense, it inflates crappy teams and that's it.

PITTSBURGH -- Brandon Sutter scored twice in the final seven minutes to cap a furious rally and the Pittsburgh Penguins slipped past the Boston Bruins 3-2 on Tuesday night.

Chris Kunitz started Pittsburgh's third-period surge with his 18th goal of the season and Sutter beat Boston's Anton Khudobin twice in less than four minutes, including the game-winner with 2:03 remaining.

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 14 shots for the Penguins, who broke loose late against the NHL's best defensive team in winning their sixth straight.

The South LEast continues to be worthless, with the Caps defeating the Jets back to back in Winnipeg 4-0 and 6-1. Now the division looks like this:

    1. Jets-34 Points
    2. Canes-32 Points
    3. Capitals-29 Points
    4. Lightning-27 Points
    5. Panthers-24 Points

I know I am a homer, but the Caps are clearly the best team out of the 5. That is not saying much, but it is true. The problem is, the Caps keep losing to non-South East teams. Which team will lose to the #6 seed come playoff time? I still think it is the Caps!

As a Yankees fan, I feel kind of bad for the Pens now. It is Cup or bust and if they win the cup, no one will care with that roster, as they should win with it. Hopefully bust.

Pittsburgh is STACKED. Didn't take long for the Blackhawks to take a back seat.

Pittsburgh finally have a player who won't go into hiding or start crying at the refs if someone puts him into the boards, but I still don't think they have the balls to go deep in the postseason. They might make it out of the first round this year, but they aren't going to the SC. Boston are still the best team in the East, for me.

Sens trade Ben Bishop to Tampa for Cory Conacher and a fourth. Love this trade.

Great trade Johnny. I love Bishop's upside (I saw him live at the Rock in the first shootout victory the Sens had over the Devils), the guy is an absolute monster. But for them to give up a second rounder for him last year from the Blues then spin around and get this type of return, especially when it's apparent they don't need him is masterful.

The Sullivan trade was to be expected out of Lou, but it's a fail that he wasn't able to move a defenseman and at least get some picks back. It was obvious they were in on Pomenville, but they weren't going to be able to beat the return Buffalo got from Minnesota.
