What's their cap situation like though? They must have a lot of money tied up in that roster, I don't know how easy it would be for them to fit Luongo in. Will be interesting to see what Goalie Bob does, I believe he's RFA this year and he might sign an offer sheet with someone if he fancies going somewhere that offers him a better chance of success.

That's a very astute observation, it's almost like I made it yesterday.

All those overpaid older superstars, something has to give, but league loves the Crosbies, so they will figure something out

Morrow, Iginla, Murray, Jokinen are rentals. Not sure where they stand but Im sure moves will be made to free up space regardless. This group of players isnt getting it done when it matters. I could see Bylsma getting canned.

Sorry Pierre, just telling it like it is.

I think you're right Jake , I could see Blysma getting canned, especially with a sweep, very embarassing

I feel like Bob stays in Columbus. They have a good young core and they seem to be on the rise. He seems to have thrived in whatever system they run too.

What do you think of this Luongo back to the Isles?

    Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
Nabokov is UFA. As for circumstances on Luongo, almost goes without saying it would mean VAN taking Rick DiPietro for compliance buyout

^Thatd make sense for both parties. Luongo has expressed publicly he wants out of Van while DiPietro and the Isles clearly need to move on from each other.

I couldn't just see it. It has to happen. With all that talent? No excuses.

I think the Isles would have beat the Pens with a Lundqvist in net.

You never know, of course, but considering how good the Islanders were in that series and how bad Nabokov was, this is an easy thing to believe.

So last night after a 2OT game in which he was on the ice for 26:35, 41 year old Jaromir Jagr went back to the dressing room, and had the trainer break out the weighted vest (and I'd assume the 10 lb stick) so that he could go on his post-game workout skate.
    The dude is not human.

HUGE win for Chicago last night. Brian Bickell continues to be their best player.

Everytime Bryan Bickell scores there's an audible cha-ching noise that plays in the living room of every NHL GM in the country.

I think they are saving roster space for Patrick Roy and Steve Yzerman

Bruins move in. Can't believe they didn't score when Rask was prone with a basically open net
