It would be, except it appears that I'm wrong and he's going to play with Spezza. I'm guessing that's so he can draw some of the physical attention.
That's true, but there were some comical decisions in that game e.g. Matt Cooke's two handed slash to the face of Erik Karlsson which was for some reason deemed to not be worthy of a penalty. There's no need for referees with questionable loyalties to be chosen for these games, and it's easy to avoid.
That was Karlsson's fault for having his face there, Cooke runs and hides when CN is on the ice, what a bitch
And so the Pittsburgh diving begins. Apparently Sergei Gonchar looking at him funny is enough to send James Neal sprawling to the ice.
And now Letang loses a physical battle to Greening, throws himself to the ice and another call goes against us. Can someone tell me I'm not imagining how soft these penalties are, please?
The Croz puts it on life-support with a NASTY backhand. 6-2. Let's all bitch about the refs in 3....... 2........ 1........
Sens have been really poor and don't deserve to win tonight, but the diving and embellishment from the Penguins has been a fucking disgrace and the refs have bitten on it every single time. Again, I'm just hoping for a career ending injury to Cooke or Crosby now. Pittsburgh are the most cunty, unpleasant, embarrassment of a team I can remember having seen. They're a disgrace to the sport.
Every team in this tournament has been selling hits/checks. Every losing teams' fans cry about it. This is standard procedure, happens every year.
No I turned it off after 7-2, it's just chippyness and frustration now. I saw some diving from both sides, a little more from PIT but they controlled the puck for 2/3 of the game. I've seen diving from both sides of every game of every series I've watched in this tournament.
Sure. And I've seen embellishment penalties given against every team except Pittsburgh. And by the way, I was "crying about it" when we won as well. It's been worse than I've ever seen, and I've seen us play the Penguins in the playoffs before.
Absolutely they can. This is a coin-flip series to me. The Bruins are built perfectly for tournament play, I'm leaning towards Bruins in 7 right now but will have to think about it. This, of course, assuming both teams get the job done this round.
Question will Lucic get a penalty if he cross checks Cinderella or Malkinstein, refs don't seem to understand the rule book when it comes to him, his picture is under interference
