They're a bit over-dependent on a few players, but they have a lot of talent - Getzlaf, Perry, Ryan, Koivu, Selanne - and I think calling them "not a good team" is a little bit harsh. They'd shit all over most teams in the East. I'm not a big fan of their goalies though, and I agree that they'll struggle with the Western powerhouses.

That's true, and Boston has coughed up a few 3-1 series leads of late so it's never completely over but, really, odds are it's over. If they do lose tonight I hope it's at least in OT or something so it was close. If they get blown out or something that'll be a bit depressing.

The Blackhawks, Kings, and Sharks are through to Round 2. Game 7 between the Ducks and Red Wings should be interesting. I don't know who has the edge. In the East: The Senators are on to Round 2, Pens up 3-2 over Isles, Caps up 3-2 over Rangers and Bruins up 3-2 over Leafs. If those series leads hold up, it would be Pens-Sens and Caps-Bruins in Round 2.
Disagreed completely. Edit: I should clarify, the Kings are the better suited playoff team and the favorite, but the Ducks have some guys with rings and such talent imo that they can hang and scheme with the bruisers in this league. I think it'd be a long series.
Wish the Isles could have taken Pittsburgh seven just to properly tire them out, but we've seen the same Pittsburgh that Yisman refuses to accept exist - flat track bullies in the regular season, shown up as the soft, unbalanced team that we know them to be in the playoffs. Lots of offensive skill, but they're defensively shaky with poor goaltending and a soft underbelly. I'm not saying we'll win, but we'll give them something to think about. Jason Spezza has joined full team practice so we could see him back in the lineup by game two or three, and a few days off to practice and build up will hopefully have helped Karlsson a lot. It will be interesting to see what happens with Cooke, obviously he won't fight but I suspect that he will receive some attention if he goes anywhere near #65.

Fleury has been shaky and the defense has taken a step back, although they were very thin most of the season with the injuries to Martin and Letang, and they did well anyway. A team that's as soft as you say should not be making the conference finals, that's for sure. As for Spezza:
Spezza would be a big boost for you guys, but if you watched the Isles outplay them most of the series, if Nabokov was better they would have won, I definitely give the Sens an excellent chance...
