    It wasn't a crap pick at all ... he is an excellent player, and excellent corner. That doesn't change the fact that it shocked me a bit.

    Idzik is doing exactly what he said he was going to do. Best Player Available.

    No one listened when I said Rex's D is predicated on corner play and gap penetration

    However Eifert needs to be the pick or we need to trade down

    Idzik obviously thought Milliner was worth picking. Seattle has a nasty secondary and Idzik is trying to emulate it with the Revis departure.

    Not too happy with Milliner... but whatever maybe the Jets think the good O players start coming in at the 2nd round... but do we get a TE or trade down FOR MORE of those 2nd round picks.

    there are pretty much no great prospects in this draft that you can get really excited about so might as well just go BPA and not get stressed about it - its not like we blew the chance to draft Andrew Luck here FFS

    As for the Revis trade - how many times does it have to be said - he was traded so as not to deal with his $16m a year demands - it was never an option for us to pay him that so what else could they do? clearly the rest of the NFL (with the exception of one team) felt the same as the Jets as no-one else came in for him no matter his incredible talent.

    I wouldn't cry if we picked Star, Floyd, or Jones. But everyone here would go crazy.

    There is no one worth drafting at 13. I hope we can get out of this pick. Essentially we have Star and Vaccaro and no one else. Nice job by the Raiders getting the guy they wanted and a an extra 2.

    The Jets draft board had to have Milliner, Lotulelei and Floyd at the top of it at this point. Whoever they took it would look like a Rex pick.
