You'll win game 6 if the pattern holds but then will have to figure out if your team will give the effort they gave in 2,4,6 in game 7 also
Its not over, But the Heat, especially Lebron put a high sense of urgency on winning this game and how the w-l streak was gunna end. Game not over yet tho
Boris Diaw went to the Tim Duncan school of I don't believe that call. Lebron went to the D Wade school of arguing he was fouled
It would be nice if we could get a) a close game b) a game where neither team complains after every call. Great win for SA, Tony Parker is beating almost everyone 1 vs 1 which is opening up everything. It also helps when someone on your team is shooting almost 70% from 3 point range. 2 huge illegal screens by Miami on important possessions. One on Miller, one on Lebron. For the 1st time all series we have a must win game for one team, the Heat. Pattern says the Heat win setting up a game 7 which would be incredible
Its like the series in a whole, the Spurs take lead get comfortable, the Heat get urgent and cut it, then the Spurs get urgent. Back and forth.
re: Mike Miller he hasn't been scoring because he hasn't been shooting. Game 4 he was 0/1. Tonight he was again 0/1
There we go, back to Miami up 3-2 for SA. MIA needs something out of their PGs, if they can't do that or guard Tony Parker the Heat have to go to the no PG lineup quocker. The problem with that is that Lebron or Wade is left chasing Parker around screens and the court tiring themselves out. Who knows how they adjust. Hopefully we get a 7th game. A key adjutment the Spurs made besides the Ginobli one, was that they rarely put their big man in a spot where they caught the ball in the then had to make a decision like in game 4. Parker a lot of times saw the screen being set, and then quickly went the other way wrong footing his defender just enough to take him 1 vs 1. Also really this game can be brought down to the Spurs made shots and Miami didn't. Miami missed multiple layups and gimmies while Danny Green was on fire and Parker and Ginobli hit tough shots.
Sidenote, why are these people who probably signed up for a murder/mystery reality tv show surprised when someone "dies" and they are expected to solve it?
I said Spurs in 6, and im sticking with it. This has the Dallas feel, if the Spurs take any sort of lead the Heat will panic and begin to crack like they did against Dallas. They know they are facing elimination now, this isnt like game 2 or 4. Spurs urgency will be up to, Duncan, Ginobli, Parker know how much this title would elevate them.
You really could fit on TV perfectly. Using the phrases about trying harder, effort, wanting it more, panic. It usually doesn't come down to that, it comes down to execution. Did SA not want to win up 2-0 on OKC last year? Did SA not want to win games 2 or 4 knowing it would get them one step closer to a title? Did the Heat panic after losing game 1 to CHI, game 6 to IND, game 5 to BOS, game 1 to OKC, game 1 and 3 to SA? If the Spurs win it's going to because they came out and played better than MIA (unless you believe the NBA is like the WWE).
Popovich coaching his ass off, this is Popovich at his finest hour. This is the series the Spurs will be remembered for. Not the Knicks, not the Nets, not Detroit(Although its close), and definitely not the Cavaliers. Beating Miami as underdogs would cement everything. Go Spurs Go!
