Towards the end of the game, Spurs looked like they gave up. Wonder why. Winner of next game will be the champions imo. Spurs looks to have more advantage. We will see
Miami's defense was swarming. Wade was much more engaged. Pop probbaly figured the game was out of reach and decided not to push Parker and avoid possibly aggravating his injury. Also Ginobli this year reminds me of Harden last year except less usage it feels like. Bad passes, tough time handling the ball, missing shots he usually makes
Im not over reacting to last night like others will. Bottom line, Heat played superb, Spurs played sloppy. The end. I didnt over react to game 3 because the Heat played Sloppy, Spurs played good. So game 5 we will see who plays superb basketball and who doesnt. The Spurs didnt match the intensity and focus. I expect the Spurs to come out playing do or die for game 5.
This was the first game that had a team (MIA) make major rotation adjustments. Birdman Birdman didn't play, and Haslem only played 10 minutes, 0 with another big on the floor. The Spurs tried to counter by playing big with Splitter on Wade or Diaw on Wade but it backfired. Maybe it works next game, but Pop didn't last too long going big. He even went smaller than MIA at times so it will be fun to see how he changes
it's not just that Ginobili can't shoot, but he's way too loose with his passes. He keeps throwing it away (or nearly throwing it away where a teammate has to save it from going out of bounds).

Just reading this now. He so badly misses when he made a list of 20 or fewer loss teams. He made the list to show how awesome the 1999 Spurs were, but it's such a bogus list. The Spurs won 52 games including the playoffs. Next lowest win total on the list? 62. You can't include shortened seasons if you're making a list of "fewest losses in a season". The Spurs weren't even the only team to finish that season with less than 20 losses. Including the playoffs, Portland and Utah did the same. That's like saying Chris Carpenter should've won the Cy Young last season because he only had 2 losses.
Ginobli had 1 of the 20 Spurs turnovers in game 4. He played decent in game 1 and 3 so perhaps 5 he shows up?
I don't know if he was trying to get into the conversation with that stat padding...It didn't work... Local radio here hasn't talked about Lebron's game at all in significant detail... It's mainly all Wade with some Bosh sprinkled in.. Everyone is confident again!
Hope we can break this win then loss pattern that has emerged since the start of the Pacers series... 11 game pattern - Win Loss Win Loss etc... Never seen this unusual pattern before...
Me too. I'd like to see the Spurs win then next two and put this inconsistent hype machine to bed already.
The Spurs have double the success with nothing even close to the hype that Miami gets. In fact, I don't think that Kobe's 5 time Lakers got the attention that the Heat have gotten. Undeserving of the hype they get. That's the Heat.
Kobe Bryant needs to shutup honestly, talking about getting 7 rings. Why talk about this now when either Lebrons about to repeat, or Duncans getting his 5th ring? I mean let these guys have the stage and moment, they deserve it. It reminds me of when Arod announced his 10 year contract during like the 7th inning of the World Series the Red Sox were in. Like honestly Kobe, STFU, your clearly doing it to remind people that you have more rings than Lebron.
I am hoping to all hell that San Antonio wins this thing. It will be the demise of the "Big 3" in Miami. Wade is getting older with knee problems, Bosh is costing them a fortune with no real return, and Allen and Miller are old. Once this happens, Lebron goes back to Cleveland and I can root for him once again. I use to LOVE watching him play in Cleveland. I can't stand it now in Miami. I love him as a player, but just fuckin hate that franchise. I don't know what I would love more, Miami losing in the finals or the Knicks making the finals LOL I miss rooting for Lebron. I miss hoping he gets a ring. Although I will admit, I was all smiles watching him jump for joy when he won last year. I couldn't stand watching TV with all the Heat parade bullshit, but I was happier than ever that HE finally won a ring he deserved. I just fuckin wish it wasn't with Miami LOL
