LeBron didn't have a single FTA. First time that's happened to him all playoffs. In fact, all playoffs, his lowest FTA was Game 3 NBA Finals, his second lowest was Game 2 (two), and his third lowest was a tie between Game 1 and a game vs. Indiana. Six free throw attempts in three games. He made exactly seven FGs in all three games and recorded his three lowest point totals of the playoffs (18, 17, and 15, his previous low was 19).
heard lebron didnt talk to the media after the loss...what a sore loser man, i cant stand people like that
It was weird. I saw a report he wasn't going to the podium then I saw quotes being attributed to his post game presser. I think he might have done one from his locker or in the hallway and didn't go up to the podium
Nice find. And wow, part of the Spurs strategy. Either come into the defense 1 vs 2 or 3, or make the correct pass to a teammate who is open, who is usually Wade who then will drive into that same 1 vs 2/3 scenario .
Parker says he wouldn't play Thursday if it was a regular season game. Since it's the NBA Finals, he hopes to play. He has a mild hamstring strain.
I re-watched last night's game, including the local pre-game and they made a very big deal about how Tony and Tim were stuck in traffic until just before the game started. I'm thinking that the result was that Tony didn't get to do his usual stretch routine - which mainly includes personal trainers going through bands stretches and assisted stretches - and Tony went into the game cold in his muscles. Now that I know the injury and the background, not surprised at all. I wonder how many cars Stern had to buy to delay their arrival.
It was the high school graduations that caused the traffic in San Antonio, If you didnt notice, when the game started, the crowd waa half full,
It may have added to it, but I dont think this was the reason. Parker has been battling his hamstring almost all season. I believe earlier in the playoffs he was taken out of one game because of that same hamstring. The miss of the stretching probably made matters worse considering it already seemed to be weaker than normal.
He's been battling a calf injury. Not a hamstring. The hammy could have been a resultant injury from dealing with the calf, but the fact that he showed up late and suffered an injury that is most commonly suffered due to lack of warm up speaks differently to me.
All I noticed was a bunch of bright glowing tail lights. And that arena is always half full at the beginning of games, and the lines at the bar are always a mile long. Spurs fans don't know how to get in their seats at the beginning of the game.
Parker will play!!!! http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2013/6/13/4426630/tony-parker-injury-status-spurs-heat-nba-finals-2013
Parker is fine, this is just being done to distract the Heat and get the spurs more focused. They know if their best player is hurt they have to all play with more urgency.
Good, best case scneario he just has to stay healthy for 2 more games. Worst case, 4 more games. Right now SA wins the series if it follows the trend that MIA gets this game, SA the next, etc etc. The Heat haven't won back to back games since the CHI series, something they will need to do to win this series.
That's what happens when you have the lead! My money is on it deviating from that trend at some point.
