Spo believes that keeping Bosh out there shooting and eventually making one will help with the spacing for Lebron/Wade down low...

But all the Spurs have to do is leave him wide open and still guard the paint cause Bosh blows...

Ray Allen should have been taking that 3 point attempt with about minute to go...

Oh and giving minutes to a garbage Battier was a dubious move...Guy is slumping so bad...No need to waste any time with him...The bench is a good spot for him.

To Boshs's defense he made a 3 with seconds left against the Spurs when they played in the regular season that beat the Spurs. It was a buzzer beater I believe.

That's one shot. He hit 28.4% of his threes this season. 28.6% last season.

24% in his first season with the Heat.

Lebron was so close to forcing that 24 second violation but Parker managed to actually hit the shot. A bit lucky, but Miami is in trouble now. 3 out of the next 4 games are on the road. Then again, Miami always seems to lose game 1 and bounce back as if nothing happened. I guess we'll find out.

So no consideration for the fact that there was some contact during that 24 seconds?

Parker is a finesse player and doesn't just lose the ball like that, going to his knees. I'm not saying there was an obvious foul, but there was definitely contact. Parker was looking to draw a foul the entire time.

And then, he makes a perfect spin on his pivot foot and double pumps to avoid Lebron tying the ball up and makes a great shot.

The only luck was in the timing.

Nowhere in your post do you give Parker a shred of credit for an amazing play.

Personally I dont want my Power Forward shooting 3s ever.

Spoelstra allowing it goes to show something.

Game 2 big obviously. Heat lose, there wont be any more games in Miami this season.

Heat will win game 2 though imo, more desperate team. Although the Spurs have been able to KO the desperate team such as in game 6 against the Warriors or game 3 and 4 against the Grizzlies.

desperate team is such an asinine concept. in every playoff series their is a desperate team facing must win games, and yet somehow in every series ever played a "desperate" team that must win actually loses (otherwise no series would ever end).

no game has ever been won because a team has been more desperate.

    lay off the cliches.

NBA needs to fix this scheduling. Game 1 should be on a tuesday, game 2 on Thursday. Then travel and play the next 3 sunday-tuesday-thursday then game 6 on Sunday and game 7 tuesday.

Having 2 full days of is stupid considering they are staying in the same city.

its all about the tv schedule. the nba doesnt command an audience anymore. nobody really gives a shit thats why they play big games on tnt instead of abc.

its also why they play all the games at night, it used to be 6pm sunday starts for these games and they would command an audience.

this is all the doing of david stern, he sucks a fat cock.

Kevin Durant is leaving Landmark Sports. Sources expect him to join Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports.

My bad for over simplifying it.

I didn't mean that Parker didn't make a great move. He did, but the shot itself was lucky. It bounced around and then dropped. If he swished it, I'd be on my knees praising the dude. It's hard to say whether it was a foul or not, but it's debatable. I'd rather not see NBA finals come down to fouls in the final seconds.

I do feel Parker is one of the best PGs in the league and def should be in the top 10 PGs of all time.

They made it 8 oclock so that west coast people can conveniently watch as well. 6 pm Sunday is 3 on the west coast. 8 oclock ensures it goes through the 'prime times' respectively. It's not that people don't care, it's that big market teams haven't been dominating, so playoff games and finals series' haven't been highly ranked. Nobody gives a shit about the Spurs or tunes in just to watch them. If you had a Knicks vs Lakers final it would probably become the highest ranked of all time as they are currently the 2 most valuable franchises in the NBA.

It's funny when analyzing the Neilson ratings for NBA finals, it peaked the year Jordan won his last championship and the fell off the face of the earth after he retired. Despite lower ratings, the revenue for the NBA has gone up since then, however.

Still amazes me how we were about trade Parker away less than 2 years ago, crazy turnaround.
